What stopped this?
Why have men stopped buying jewelry for women?
What stopped this?
Less is more,
I used to own a retail jewelry store for 32 years before I retired and worked in the store long before that as a diamond setter, goldsmith.
The trend now seems to be less is more.
1 nicer well made piece, more expensive vs a lot of smaller inexpensive pieces.
Also there have been a lot of store closings, some of the big chains that used to advertise have had some big time financial issues and just do not have the money to bombard us with ads like they used to.
This economy has not been kind to many businesses.
The price of gold being so high, marriage/dating becoming things of the past and everyone knowing diamonds are a rip-off
I deal in jewellery for the bulk of my income, 60% is just scrap these days

Its depend on many factors or situations dear we can not judge it,
2nd, There is many way to express love its not necessary that if you can buy jewelry to your loved one than and than you truly loves her.
Modern women are too complicated. Most are just looking for sex, not long term. A lot cheat. There’s been a significant decline in young people having kids. Until I’ve been with her for 6 months or more, I don’t care to do that.
Men buying women jewelry was part of a bygone era when women were different than they are today. Back then women were special and they deserved be treated as special. Today's women are no longer special and have lost the right to be treated as such.
Wait a minute nobody told me this man gotta get some Christmas presents back
Yeah I used to love the DeBeers commercial for diamonds.

(And wasn’t single…)
Because many women are feminists and can buy their own jewelry.
Not true, I saw a lot of jewelry commercials in the last month.
Culture and society has changed. My ex never liked anything I tried to buy for her.
Well for one thing it's really expensive.
Waste of money
