Men usually appreciate things for their usefulness, so why would they assume women want useless jewelry?
Because most women DO want useless things like jewelry.
It's totally okay if you don't - you just have to sit him down and explain that to him.
I dated one girl, and I got her a necklace. It wasn't especially expensive, not a name brand, but it was jewelry and along her style, and I'm not sure if I could have made her happier with a house and a pony - she LOVED it.
I dated another girl who didn't want jewelry or traditionally "girlie" things. She was an artist. I bought her some canvases and paints and a nice light - and she LOVED those things. I could have bought her a $5000 diamond bracelet and she wouldn't have liked that nearly as much as $50 worth of art supplies and a light.
It's all about knowing your audience.
My sister actually enjoys receiving tools. Her husband makes a very good income, and he's very into sports, but he is completely useless with tools or anything mechanical. He has to call someone to change a flat tire, and couldn't jump-start a car by himself, and forget about fixing the water heater or a leaky faucet. My sister builds Ikea furniture, replaces light switches and outlets, and does all of the other basic house maintenance and upgrades, so she can use a cordless drill or a circular saw. And while she likes jewelry, she likes her tools just as much.
Make sure your man knows what you like and don't like, and you should do just fine.

Because women want useless things like Jewelry.
Women have long been the drivers of human innovation, because they aren't satisfied with the necessities. They complain/ nag, and then guys invent, innovate, conquer, etc.
They want a bigger house, a nicer car, more stylish clothes, nails and hair done up, etc. etc. etc. They want so many things that are useless- yet look at the average bachelors apartment and you'll see a place to sit, a place to sleep, and some entertainment. Women drive us to go beyond necessities, and we know they expect us to undertake useless acts (expensive honeymoons), and to purchase them useless things (e. g. flowers) because it makes them happy- and drawn to us.

Because guys that women love jewelry. An emotionally healthy guy buys a woman jewelry because he wants to see her happy. A guy that´s emotionally somewhere else might just do for her so that he could claim in an argument later on he cared for her since he spent money on her jewelry.
It´s true that guys appreciate and prefer usefulness but call it a stereotype but from a guy´s perspective it seems likely to make a woman happy with jewelry than with kitchen devices or something else for the household. How 'bout a nice vacuum cleaner? Or a thigh and butt master kit?

Some like books. Some guys like video games. We all have interests that aren't necessarily 'useful.' And we like gifting each other things that we like. Whether or not it's practical doesn't have to come into it, only the person's enjoyment. Otherwise, there's really no point in gifting.
For that very reason. It's insensitive to buy people things that you want. You are supposed to think of what someone with different tastes would want.
Jewelry is particularly attractive because healer will spend a lot time trying to convince you how much she will love it.Because women usually eat that shit up!! I blew $60 I didn't have to spare on a pair of earrings for my future ex-fiance that I thought would look FANTASTIC on her and I doubt she ever wore them more than once!! Rather than TELL ME she didn't like them and let me take them back, she treated them like a dog toy!! About 10 years after I bought them for her, I found one of them in a dusty crevice in the wall behind the radiator!! I have no idea what she did with the other one!!
So this might seem odd to you, but I appreciate things for their aesthetics and level of fun, usefulness is good, but is less important.
I'm an artist though, so aesthetics is my craft.
However, despite that, I don't buy jewerly, not because it's not useful, but because I think most of it is really ugly looking. 🤷🏻I love sparkly jewelry. I like to wear nice shoes that are not as practical as a pair of moccasins. I prefer to wear sexy underwear over practical granny pants. The right jewelry can BE the lingerie with some sexy heels. āØ 👠
Itās a fashion of a shit test. If a man buys a woman useless crap, particularly expensive useless crap, then his expendable income and assets are at her whim; or at least his credit worthiness. Typically women who value such things donāt care which.
Because the media and commercials basically say "you're a piece of shit if you dont buy her diamonds" While at the same time leading women to believe that if he isn't buying you jewelry pretty much constantly he is unworthy of you.
I only like jewelry if its a nice engraved dogtag
Because historically women did want useless jewelry, and still tend to as a general rule right now as well.

making the people in your happy life is not useless though...
Because a womanās goal in life is materialistic things. Menās goals are getting women which is achieved by putting bait on your hook in terms of material things.
If I had a SO, I would buy her Jewelry that is not too expensive but not real cheap looking
Because most women do prefer useless stuff to show off over practical stuff.
Let's ask this question. Why do woman like jewelry? Just something else to keep up with and keep clean. More work for no real value to her life.
I don't know but if they keep doing it badly and I can reap the rewards then let them keep doing it
Hmm, I have date a lot of women and some really liked the jewelry and some were like you and couldn't care less about it.
If you believe that then you are in the minority. Sorry girl women like sparkly s***. This is why pimps wear the clothes and jewelry they do. Because it catches a woman's eye.
B/c women like jewelry
