Do you think it was rude of this girl to tell me to mind my own business when I was trying to give her helpful advice?

A girl said to me “Mind your own business” after I said to her “I think you stop straightening her hair too much otherwise she might damage it.”

I will admit this girl never did ask for my advice in the first place but I was trying to give her helpful advice because it’s a fact straightening hair too often isn’t good

You may have had good intentions, but she didn't ask you. So she told you to mind your business, because its her body and I'm sure she notices. That's like telling somebody "you shouldn't eat too much mc donalds it will make you gain weight" when they are already fat... They know and they didn't ask, they also know the consequences... Even if you were just trying to be nice and helpful... A lot of people don't like you sticking your "Nice and helpful" where it wasn't asked for. That is the truth, let this be a learning lesson. If they didn't ask your thoughts on it, don't give them.. It could get you in trouble with how people are today. I wish you well sweetheart.

Just about all of us know doing that isn't good for.
Im sure there are plenty of things that you do, that aren't "good" if you do them too often as well.

What I think isn’t going to change the fact this girl you told to stop straightening her hair probably thought you were rude but like other people have said and I agree with you shouldn’t give people advice unless they ask for it
