about ahour ago i was on ticktok
a user i know who post videos about her cast block me.

a new video posted was a video of her cats.
in the video she was saying shewas a happy childless cat mom.

sounded like she was crying a little so i made a comment on the video.
i asked hey are you ok you sound sad then she block me.

Aw man, I don't think you were trying to be rude, just checking on her since she sounded upset. But I can see why the comment might have come off the wrong way to her.

A few things to keep in mind for next time:

- It's usually best not to directly call out that someone sounds sad/crying online. Even if you mean well, that can embarrass some folks.

- She may have personal things goin on she doesn't wanna discuss publicly. Not everyone is comfy sharing feelings online.

- Getting blocked prob means she just wants privacy right now. Better to respect that boundary.

I wouldn't stress too much - it was a small thing, and your intentions were good. Live and learn, yeah? Next time just drop a like or move on if someone sounds off. Or if you wanna reach out, maybe send a private message instead of commenting.

She may have taken your comment the wrong way and thought you were being sarcastic. Like her post was basically about her being a happy single cat mom, then your comment was like ‘awe, you sound sad are you ok?’.


I’m not quite sure I would’ve interpreted your comment that way if I were her, and there’s no guarantee it’s why she blocked you in the first place, for all we know she could see you’re on her page often and not like that. Your comment could’ve meant nothing.


In any case though, it’s best to move on. I don’t think what you said was wrong, and not worth worrying about.
