Which gender has an easier time with making themselves look good?

It has been said that women have more natural beauty, but men have less tasks to do as far as hair, makeup, nails, etc.

I´d say women because though you take longer to do so the impact/difference is bigger. What do guys have a hairbrush/ a razor and some perfume plus a fresh set of clothes,
That´s not much in comparance to what you women can do. You can women can go from pretty entering the bathroom to beautiful leaving it. Yes that may take some time, but it can lead to a clear visible difference.

I think a woman has an easier time. She can fix her hair different ways, make-up, wear clothes to accent her body. Not much a guy can do.

Men don't need to apply a ton of cosmetics to themselves, to look nice, and be ready to leave the house. There's definitely a hell of a lot less work that goes into looking good as a guy, in terms of the face, however... guys also can't hide their imperfections like women can, since men don't rely on makeup. So, a man's peak attractiveness is completely reliant on how lucky he may have gotten with his genetics, where with women, an unattractive woman has the chance to improve her appearance, significantly.

On an unrelated note, I think there is a huge disadvantage in the long run, to using makeup. Where it has the potential to improve a woman's appearance, by a large margin, it also contributes to premature aging, and damaged skin. So, women who rely on a lot of makeup, are playing on a much more limited timescale, with their beauty, even if it gives them an advantage.

Men don't use a lot of products whic make you look good in the beginning, but damage the natrual strength of your body and hair. Therefore you need more as you get older because it's natrual strength is gone. Guys can have good hair by using generic shampoo, because they never messed with other things that girls did to get their hair the exact way they want. Thus all the natural barrier their hair has is there.
Did you know you can use soap to wash your hair and scalp. Your head will be oily, but not dirty. When I had eczema causing bad dandruff because the oil your head produces prevents dandruff.

It is natural to want a date with the hottest person in the room (and at minimum avoid a date with the ugliest).

There are a thousand ways for women to compensate and accentuate what they have so that at least one guy will think her in the top 20% of women according to his own likes/dislikes (hair color, hair length, 'natural' makeup, 'confident' makeup, 'feminine/sweet' makeup, shoes, outfit/perceived body shape.

Men mostly shower, shave, put on a clean shirt/shoes, he's ready to.

I'ma say, us women take time and effort with all those things to making ourselves look cuter (not for all occasions by the way, i just meant for an occasion like a wedding, girls night out, dates, etc) but that time and effort is actually worth at the end because we're satisfied with what we've done and totally feel good
but men usually take like a minute or 5 to quick just put on some shirt and pants on or whatever and thats literally all they gotta do, and just fix hair maybe, and done they're set to go. also like unless theyre like going out with their crush or someone, i dont think they really care about their looks or smells as much

Bro all guys have to do is get a trim every week and go to the gym every other day. That makes you hot right away.

Also its WAY easier for a guy to build muscle.

I gotta have my nails on check, my hair on check, my eyebrows (and facial hair cause I am Arab lol) on check and don't even get me started with having a wax appointment every week.

Then comes skincare, mastering natural makeup looks, and putting together sexy yet ladylike outfits.

Have you seen how people dress these days? Nobody takes time to get ready anymore. Especially not women. Women just throw on yoga pants and sneakers and put their hair in a messy bun. Takes the same amount of effort as men's clothes. Women haven't been putting any effort since the mid 2000's.

The only people putting any effort are the vintage crowd. The girls have their curling, hairspray, makeup, tights, camisole, petticoat, skirts/dresses, heels, nails et cetera. Us men have our detached collars to attach, ties, vests, trousers, suspenders. My wife and I take almost the same amount of time to get ready. Sometimes I take longer because I struggle with the collar haha. Sometimes she takes longer if something isn't perfect.

Sorry fellas! I think men have it sooo much easier than women to get themselves ready. Even for someone like me who wears very minimal makeup— styling hair and makeup is a pain.

I will say that this isn’t true for all. I know there are some men that spend a lot of time on themselves and that’s ok!

At times it’s debatable, if it’s just a quick out to the pub thing, then I am about 15 mins or less.

if it’s a trip in to town or decent restaurant etc.

Then I hog the bathroom, and can spend an easy hour getting ready.

longest time may be pressing shirt, trousers and tie, finding cuff links, buffing my shoes, getting socks that match tie etc.

Hear me out. I think men do. Only because they’re usually used to not wearing makeup and having less options etc so pretty comfortable in their skin. If they want to look better however then just quickly style hair maybe throw on a jacket and pretty much sorted. For women many thinks can make her natural beauty look worse eg. Easier for guys, the standard of what looks good for men is much lower because in general that’s not our strong point to begin with/what we’re judged on. That being said i find if funny when girls complain about having to put a ton of effort into their appearance like they’re blaming “society’s” standards, it’s not men’s fault if you’re not a natural beauty. find a guy that will think you’re cute without makeup, he just might not be as high value of guy as you think you’re entitled to 🤷‍♂️

Men, of course. Not only are they judged less for their physical appearance they also don't need to exaggerate what they have too much.
Their natural appearance (including build) is usually good enough according to women. Men look so effortlessly handsome while women who are considered conventionally attractive have usually undergone a lot of plastic surgeries, use the best skincare products etc.

I use face wash and an acne treatment every day. My face is always covered with acne.

My brother (same genes, about the same age) washes his face with the same soap he washes his ass with. He almost never has acne.
