I'm of the opinion that you don't need a reason to dress up nicely. Most people these days only dress up because they "have" to and they don't really enjoy doing so either. During my favourite eras (1920's/1940's/1950's) everyone dressed up, especially when having company. It was a respect they showed to themselves and their environment. Thus, I respect myself and my environment by always dressing up. Wouldn't be caught dead in a graphic tee and sweatpants when out and about.
I get many nice comments from people and I kinda laugh when they feel embarrassed by their casualness due to my fancier outfits. Sometimes I'll get weird looks and comments like "Where are you going?" or "Are you heading to a wedding?". To which I reply that I dress like this all the time because I want to.
Typically, I'm wearing my wool trousers, dress shirts, bow ties, waistcoat with a pocket watch, hats, and sports coats/suit jacket. Most of it is true vintage from 1900's up to 1950's. For colder weather, I have my 1940s and 1950s wool overcoats which I wear with thicker trousers, leather gloves, dress boots, and Irish scarves.

Seasonal celebration - Yes
Family-related ones are the most common and also the latest.
Before that would be.. newyears celebration.
The thing is for me I like it when I get to go my own way. I don't like suits, they're too uniform. Although I can see the appeal if I was fit and confident because then it would feel powerful.
Mostly I like going to wild underground parties. Then I'll go at it with the best clothes and get dancing. 😍
I love dressing up the most..
I last dressed up was on Monday this week..
I had wore a pleated skirt (was around 3-4 inches above my knees) with a crop top..

I'm the opposite, rather: I'm dressing down.
I'm not walking around in dirty rags - but I see no point in 'making an impression' by looks.
Last time I dressed up was at a ''fashion show'' (local small scale 'celebrities') - I had camouflage dockers, a black t-shirt and my red-star-protest-military-cap.
...
I stood out, I'd say, among all these ''stylish'' guests. They were all dressed with the same ''life-stylish'' trend things that makes us look all the same :D
Yes - the way we dress is a kind of statement. Mine is: Resistance.I dress nicely for work each day. I haven’t had a time to truly get dressed up recently. Probably last year at a quinceanera. I really enjoy getting dressed up for special occasions. I wore a maroon colored dress with heels, curled my hair, and did my makeup. Curled hair for a couple other ladies attending as well.
Sometimes. I don’t like to dress up super fancy unless I have to.
The last time I dressed up was when I attended a military event with my boyfriend.
I wore a long black dress.I love dressing uppp it doesn’t matter where I’m going to. Sometimes when I’m bored I start styling myself 😂 I also styled and arranged my roommates closets it’s soooo fun and exciting how pretty you can look with the appropriate clothes that match your body frame. Styling myself is the number one reason why I love going out
Damn, probably since the pandemic started. I haven't even worn heels since it did either. I remember the last time I tried I nearly became that elderly woman in that one commercial where she says, " HELP! I've fallen and I can't get up." what a travesty.
Oh and it was for a date night. can't remember where.Do I enjoy dressing up? A little
Last time I dressed up? It was an event for soldiers about to deploy. You could bring guests such as loved ones, family, and friends.
I had on a slim-fit dark green polo shirt.
Light green-gray chino pants.
Brown boots.
Golden watch.
Everything fit quite nicely, except I would have preferred a more neutral colored chino.I don't do it often but then it can be fun. I wouldn't like to do it every day but for a special event is okay. I think the last time I really dressed up was last year for a Christmas event. We had a day filled with very interesting lectures and then in the evening we all went to a fancier restaurant and had dinner.
Looking good, I only did it properly a few times in my life with a full suit and dress pants and such.
Otherwise, I don't leave the house very often, so when I do, I put in some effort. Which means a making sure my hair looks devent, shave, good button-up shirt, good jeans, nice shoes, some EDP, a watch, that kind thing.
Gotta take your moments, you know.Very pretty! I haven't dressed up in awhile. I am around cars everyday. It doesn't bother me to get dirty, but sometimes I would like to dress up. In May I gtg to a quinceniera. Some people are already complaining about the "dress code".
Love it. I get to dress up all the time due to my field. So it's a daily occurrence. Nothing beats looking good. I love fashion, piecing things together, great shoes/heels, makeup and amazing hair. You look great !💞
Being in work clothes everyday getting dirty everyday takes a toll on a person so there are times when I have to get dressed up and I love putting on things I dont really get to wear to often and be all of me lol instead of just the work me
I have to dress-up once a week or I do not feel right too. I have no need to suit-up except two times a month going down to legislature. I'm around lots of people in the workplace so it does not feel or look strange...
Very beautiful dress! It’s also nice how it’s classy and doesn’t show too much skin. I like dressing up, but very rarely have the opportunity to do so.
nice outfit, you look pretty. i like to dress up pretty much every day to school. nothing too flashy ofc, just my everyday outfit lol.
Mostly every weekend as well as my girlfriend.
She wear too revealing outfits, because she got attractive body shape, if she wear dresses then very short just to covered ass with G-string or commando same as micro skirt too.I used to hate it, but I'm starting to really like it now.
I do, last time was for a Friday night lime at a popular bar and restaurant that I attended with a friend.
If you mean formal, then it’s been a while, pre pandemic. Do I enjoy it? I enjoy the finished look, but I do NOT enjoy finding a dress, shoes, bag, or accessories.
Occasionally, yes I do. But only for events that I need to dress up for.
I couldn't do a job where I had to dress up every day.I don't dress up for anyone. I wear the same thing every single day because its simple and I live a minimalist lifestyle: white linen shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and light brown chino pants. Simple, and can wear that anywhere.
