Why my classmates give comments about my clothes?

I just started degree with my new classmates. That is this spoil brat keep commenting my fitbit watch and my outfit for the day especially my shoes. Most of my shoes are bought from warehouse sale or so call discount shop. Also my school bags mostly cost between 30 to 45 dollar due to stain and tiny damage goes the same for the shoes. I cannot spend some money on myself for items I like but not expensive or first season 🤔.

This world is so materialistic its sad. I gtg to a quinceniera in May and the couple is the same way. They are so critical, yet show offs, but they live in the hood! So for kicks I'm gna wear these Christian Dior sandals I paid $1k for and this Gucci sweatshirt just to piss them off. I know they're gna buy the dress for their daughter from this fair, not Macy's or Nordstrom. I don't have a load of material things, just once in awhile I'll buy myself something nice. This will happen for you as well. Finish school and fuck these egomaniac materialistic people. They'll end up like my husband's nephew. Living in the hood, kids to support, average jobs, but still blowing $ on shit they don't need just to impress other people.

Thanks for your advice. Actually, I am humble. I always think before I purchase stuff like what I need to live or at work first then what my basic needs are. I won't buy anything useless like a smartwatch that does not fit my needs. I also think clothes can be cheap and still look good. Sometimes I see nice shoes in sales then I buy electronic stuff which meets my basic needs. I also do not need a super smartwatch as long I can exercise and it is affordable for me. I do not want to blow my money up like my friends' birthday party.

Yes save your money. Finish school and establish your career. Then you won't be like these people wearing fancy clothes, but $10k in debt, don't pay their taxes, and got a loan on a brand new car that is soon to be repossessed! lol
