I don't know if you'd be arrested but you would definitely look out of place. It wouldn't surprise me is someone thought you were a "working woman". There's a cute scene in the Outlander series where a woman goes back in time and has to explain that her brassiere is a new French item if clothing for women.

Not nearly as fun, advantageous or socially expedient when you have to deal with ACTUAL oppression though. This you'd learn to your own grief.
