Does gua sha really work for double chin and defining your jawline? Is it worth it? Has anyone tried it?

It works if you’re committed to keep at it for the rest of your life. Once you stop, your face will go back to its original shape.


I’m shocked that it has become a beauty practice. It originated in Chinese medicine, my mom would always perform a full-body gua sha whenever I was sick with a fever. It’s extremely painful 😣

It works meaning it will actually reduces the double chin? Or works just for blood circulation?

I’m no health expert, but if your double chin is because you are chubby or overweight, I don’t believe that gua sha will help at all. I’ve heard from people that scraping your face drains some of the fluid that makes our faces appear puffier, but that’s all it does. And like I said you’d have to make it a habit to do it consistently or else it won’t work.

I don't know. I heard so many good things about it that I bought one because I was curious, and wanted to try it for sculpting my face, but I still didn't try it 😅
