At my size, 57 degrees IS shorts weather- and at any rate, it's much easier to add heat than the disperse it.

At 14 c both of those are extremes. The second one B would be way to hot. The first would be a little on the cool side. If I had to choose one of those outfits I would go with the shorts.

57F is a bit chilly for the first outfit is but if I'm walking or otherwise active, I'll be fine. Assuming I would wear something like that, I'd be too hot in the second outfit.
