I love beer but I'm not a beer aficionado. I don't exactly drink it for the taste.

I'm a drunk which means any kind of beer makes me reasonably happy -- less so if it's Miller/Coors/Bud Lite. Tastes like drinking burnt rubber in liquid form to me. But I'm still happy.

Yet my favorite balancing cost (not at some fancy beer garden where I get to try a pint for $15 which probably tastes amazing but I can't afford to drink every day) is Sapporo Premium, Corona (summer day, squeezed lime with salt rim), and sometimes a Guinness Stout. Those are the affordable everyday kinds to me that I love.

pretty much all American beer is fairly shit.

With all the European influence you would think they could do decent beer, lager etc.

Personally Belgium and Germany beers tick the boxes.

Also Italy as well.

Peroni, Moretti, ‘Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier Wheat Beer, Paulaner and it’s Salvator doublebock. Belgium beers are in thousands brands such as Brouwerij Verhaeghe De Nachtegaal. You can also shove in Brew Dog as well.

New Glarus Brewing is number one in my book.

Followed by Leinenkugel's and Stone Arch Brewing.

New Glarus and Stone Arch are state specific but Leinenkugels is delivered across the US.

Unfortunately American beer is for the most part complete garbage. Thankfully Wisconsin has like 200 breweries and most of them are decent.

best: Sam , Michelob , Budweiser , Heineken and Corona
worst: Milwaukee best , Miller lite , coors light and modelo (are an acquired taste ) and Dos xquis

I love beer, no doubt, but none of those you mention. You should try Belgian brands, Belgium (Europe) being the country of real beer: Chimay, Orval, Rochefort, Hoegaerden, Westmalle, etc. Hundreds of excellent brands ;0)
