I have a friend who only drinks Ale. It limits the pubs we can visit since many primarily serve Lager. It seems Ale isn't as widely preferred. I'm curious, what's your favorite style of beer?
Oh, I'm all about those lighter beers, especially when they have a bit of a citrusy kick to them. You know, something refreshing and not too heavy. I'm kind of into craft beers too, because they often have these unique flavors you can't find in the more common stuff. There's this style called a "session IPA" that's perfect for me. It's got all the hoppy taste of a regular IPA but it's lighter and you can enjoy a few without feeling overwhelmed. And then there's the classic wheat beer - always a good choice for its smooth and slightly fruity vibe.

Most will probably hate it or they won't know it but this one :
I don't care if there are other "better" beers, this is my pick
Anywhere that only serves one style of beer shouldn't be calling itself a pub.
I like maltier stuff, I’m not a big hops guy. I don’t really “like” any alcohol for its taste, I just drink it to occasionally get a little glow on in the right situations. But I’d say my go-to is Guinness, or any stout, as long as it doesn’t have a coffee flavor to it. I don’t care for those. But a straight stout or porter, maybe I’d dabble in a chocolate stout/porter if I were presented with the option, that’s probably my gun-to-my-head “favorite.”
I'm not the biggest fan of beer. It doesn't thrill me. But I do occasionally enjoy a good, dark porter/stout (not Guinness) on tap. I first tasted them in Ireland and became a fan.

Those are very very poor pubs. I am surprised they have people drinking in them
usually you have Guinness, beers from local breweries, summer ales, yes various lagers but also ciders and different ales.
Always hated beer. When I was younger I loved Vodka, but now I don't drink because I am more or less a mom.
Guinness Stout and IPA. I like them all but these are my favorites. I don’t drink the alcohol versions anymore, just the non-alcoholic which there are many beers. Most are very good but the Guinness is great.
Porters and stouts and Belgian-style ales. Some IPAs depending on my mood. Drank a Kraken by Fremont brewing Friday and really liked it.
I'm easy. I usually only drink it with pizza, bbq or spaghetti though. If going out I'd rather had a drink I can hold and swirl.
the cheapest highest % ones 😳 and fruity/sweet ones (like the kriek beers, belzebuth, cubanisto, desperados)
I'm not to big on beer... The only good ones I've tried though so far is German beers and even one from Japan..
Ginger beer

I do not prefer beer or wine. I drink Scotch, rum, tequila, vodka, or Irish whiskey.
IPA’s are my favorite , I love the Hops , but I can drink other beers as well , I just prefer IPA’s
Preference is usually cider. But will drink almost anything
Stouts
Cream Ale
Dark Lager
Better if you can't see through it!
In winter I usually reach for an IPA and Lagers in the summer
My favourites are Big Wave by Kona Brewery, Guinness, and a bunch of IPAs
Something light, I’m not much of a beer drinker but I don’t mind Coors light, blue moon, corona or Red Stripe
My husband buys Pale Ale. I like it.
I never drank beer before but I can't really believe it makes a strong difference... You need so much of that it shows any effect
All depends on the time and place! Fall season by the fire? Give me a hardy stout. Mowing the grass when it's 98 degrees? Good old miller lite LOL
