u I always go with a clean cut shave, that's what i like and prefer... but, when the girls wanted some stubble I would do it for them and I don't mind it, because at least in my case... my facial hair never felt spiky nor look weird or anything like that

Depends on how I have it at the moment. I nowadays keep my hair and beard in a uniformed size 2 setting with the shaver. I find it works best for my face. BUT I do wish I had a more manly beard at times. Clean shaven faces on grown men offend me. 1 setting down from this on both my hair and my facial hair, same length.

Totally clean shaven in the Spring and Summer, full beard in the Fall and Winter.
Actually, I am not a great fan of beards, mustaches and all the rest. However, I detest cold weather and for whatever reason, a beard makes me feel a bit warmer. Besides, my girlfriend and my kids kind of like it, although they always say they are ready to see it go when spring comes around.
Right now, though, I am clean shaven. It's SPRINGTIME!! Yeah!!!

Short stubble length with a slight goatee, as it's a little longer in the mustache and chin area.
Sometimes, it's even with no goatee and sometimes I keep one and the overall length of the beard varies, like sometimes it's stubble length and sometimes I go longer.
I do pluck out some hairs though, as I want my beard to look neater, but I'm prone to getting ingrowns on my face and eyebrow areas, so I've got some scarring too, above my beard line, as I don't leave my ingrowns alone.
I had a moustache for many years. Sadly, it began going grey before the hair on my head, so I began plucking each individual grey hair on my upper lip. You can't imagine how painful that is. It was easier to shave the moustache off.

u I'm just down to a moustache and goatee right now. I have to be clean shaven for my new job, so I've been cutting my heard down bit by bit to as not to freak out my son.

Having a beard is super annoying. It’s literally like having pubes on your face. You can take care of it and keep it nice sure. It all depends on the guys facial structure and hair texture. Some people look terrible with a beard. Some look terrible without a beard. Some look great with or without a beard. It depends.

I call it the Rasputin. Because one I grew it out a mother and a close friend started calling me Grigori Rasputin. The nickname more or less started spreading out from there.

Mine tends to be wiry and scratchy, even after trimming and grooming. Although clean shaven is fine, it makes me look way younger and I am not fond of that.

Mine doesn't grow fully. Like it looks like its going somewhere then just stops growing after a while. So it doesn't fill out completely.

I have always stayed clean shaven. If I go for more than a few days without shaving it starts itching and annoys the hell out of me lol

It's a chicken before egg type of thing lol... ... when we shave the edge of the hair is cut at an angle that makes it sharp. It pokes us when it is at the short length : standing upright... but once it grows fully out and lays flat it doesn't poke... even better when the cycle of the hair replacing itself .. there is no itch...
This is why there is no in-between..
. for comfort.. a person can either be, clean shaven constantly ( this would take daily scraping of the skin (shaving 💀)... ... or they can be full grown
Trimmed. I recently trim it about once a week. I like it that way. I look like a baby when it's fully shaved

Okay thanks.. And to answer your question.. I'm usually 5 days stubble.. When I feel like it I go with a goatee and mustache.. My beard doesn't grow properly on the sides because I have a little skin condition 😆

My facial hair comes in all gray and it makes me look old. As a result I shave it all off.
