I love going barefoot when I can, especially in summer. Sunwarmed feet feel awesome.

But also, I'm used to barefoot from karate. I feel like going barefoot on occasion helps my feet feel better - like, the arch muscles and stabilizers fire more and I also like the feel of the ground on my feet.

It's grounding.

Yeah, like barefoot barefoot. I won't go for a walk outside barefoot (unless I'm staying in my yard), because you're right that's ouchie. Especially if there's rocks or other debris.

But I generally walk around my house barefoot.

I prefer most shoes to sandals or something, too. I hate the feeling of trying to run or move and having slippers or sandals shift around underfoot.

Okay that’s to be understood. I actually saw a few people around the city, walking completely barefoot, that’s why I asked. I don’t understand why they do it, but I’m tempted to ask lol.

No I certainly wasn’t referring to unhoused people who can’t afford shoes lol. I love being barefoot, it even turns me on a little bit because I feel free I’m not gonna lie, but to walk in the streets with my bare soles touching the sidewalk, I haven’t done that… yet

I've done that a bit, but you gotta be careful where you do it. Watch out for glass and the like!

If I'm in a big field, I'll usually take my shoes and socks off to walk through it if the weather is good. But I'm always scared of stepping on slugs or bees, lol!

My main concern is stepping on dog shit or worse yet, human shit or pee pee. Problem is, I file my heels and my skin is very smooth, not sure if I can withstand walking on gravel and such.

Way too hot in central Florida to step on the sidewalks while bare foot. I normally wear sport socks, but I have a favorite pair of athletic shoes which are so worn in... or should I say worn out, that socks aren't needed.

My feet are kinda ugly but I’m not insecure about showing them lol
especially because my feet look a lot better than they used to. I used to be a dancer so my feet were once filled with blisters and my toenails were black from being bruised.
