Want to get my first tattoo but don’t know what to get🙇🏽‍♀️ Any ideas🥲?

Try favorite animal, plant, or landscape. I have a snake. Or maybe a phrase from a show or person you like. I also have a Bible verse with an arrow—hey you could get a weapon if you want. Those can look really cool. Or a dish or furniture or vehicle, or something from a dream. My wife has a quote from a recurring dream she had as a child.

Anything really, just pick something that you like and like how it looks. Maybe give it a Google to see if there's any associated meaning too, just in case you wanna get a teardrop or something. Just so you aren't surprised about what it means to other people.

What would be cool is to tell them how much you want to spend and then let them do what ever let the artist do his or her thing just whatever you get if there is words involved make sure its spelled right and no tatoos on the face. Your tatoo does not have to have some sort of meaning and do a little research and find the best artist in your area dont get a hotel tat , im sure what ever you get you will like it

If you don’t know what to get then don’t get a tattoo. It’s permanent and you have to be happy with whatever you get for the rest of your life. Once you’ve come up with a tattoo idea that you like, sit on it and think about it and it’s placement for at least 3 months before getting it. You may change your mind within a week. Or you can get custom temporary tattoos to help decide your placement for the tattoo. It’s what I did for my first 2 tattoos when I was 18. I got them custom made and stuck them on different parts of my body for 3 months until I found a spot that I was happy with.

The smaller the prettier and please don't put it anywhere on your chest or anywhere that YOU can't see it and no where, where you have to disrobe to see it. For Heaven's sake don't get a tramp stamp. Those went out when my mom was a teen and NO she doesn't have one.

I’m indecisive so I’ll never get a tattoo but one I always think of is getting one of my side boob or the side of my rib cage area and of my moms favourite flower. Personally I’d get something meaningful but I know not everyone cares about it being meaningful.

My recommendation. Think about it for your self. Pick something that has real meaning to you. Something that is so a part of you, you can’t ever see it not being a part of you. Then think some more. Also really put thought into placement. Poor placement can make what would have been an amazing tattoo be a total flop. I got my first tattoo at 21 and I thought I thought about it enough… 3 years later I got it covered up with something else because I regretted it and well removal is expensive..

Whatever you get ensure it's a good timeless design (like when you're 80); well crafted good quality; well-placed (NO facial tattoos); proper size and placement.

Your test should be: would this look good when I am 80? when my parents, family, friends and strangers see it? when you're at a job interview?

I would say, don't get a tattoo for fun. If you aren't sure about it, then wait.
It's gonna be there forever', it cannot be washed off. Make sure what you get is meaningful.
