Trending & News Girl they don’t hurt as bad as you think it will. Make sure you are fs what you want cause that shit is permanent. Yes you probably heard that enough times but so did I and to this day I’m still wishing I woulda moved this tattoo here or not color this tattoo. It’s a lot make sure you know what you want. Other ripe maybe look at the needle. Every time I see what is cause me pain it makes me realize the pain isn’t as bad as my thoughts thought and that helps me calm down. Inner forearms don’t hurt just make sure it’s not to close to the wrist or elbow! Elbows hurt like a bitch even close to the elbow
A few tats are find but in a lot of people's minds tattoos ruin a person's looks, like someone wrote graffiti on them. Sometimes tats can be addicting and pretty soon you look like these people.

My advice is: don't. Get temporary tattoos if you must, but don't permanently disfigure yourself. It will add permanent limits to your life, even if you don't realize it. You may be passed over for jobs/promotions, social opportunities, and relationships. Why choose such limits when you can easily avoid them?
Also realize that you're almost certain to feel differently about those tattoos in 10 or 20 years - tons of people I know have them and really regret jumping on the fad that once seemed so cool...
Ah gotcha but I think it's less of an issue here in Australia unless you have a face tat lol. I know some who have tattoos all over (nothing above the shoulders or nowhere near the face tho) and it has never affected their job prospects
We are more relaxed although there might still be some unconscious bias
Also, I've been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while now so I doubt I'll regret it
Thank you tho x
I would say know exactly what you want, where you want it, and the size. And don't drink not b/c of blood thinning... but b/c you may need to make decisions on the fly. Sounds like you know what and where you want it... I only had 2 beers prior and even then I lost some inhibition and my bunnies became larger, color and way more visible. And permanent.
A drink is fine... it does help with the nerves, just stay the course.
My tattoos have only cost me 2 job opportunities; both customer facing and b/c the short sleeve shirts only covered half my tattoos, and that imagery wasn't "in line" with the establishment. I wear long sleeves at my current job and nobody knows.
The tattoos do, however, inhibit relationships since most girls, even ones who like tattoos, generally don't like mine. My last girlfriend wouldn't let me wear a tank top in public if I was with her. She said all people see are the Playboy logos, but if I 'sleeved' up that logo would be lost in all the other ink.

As long as you seem intent on doing it, bring along an oral anesthetic for babies. Anbesol and OraGel are two I know of, as long as it is 20% benzocaine or stronger. If the tattoo artist does not have some numbing agent to apply first, at least you will have this back-up plan for the pain, since this will hurt more than the back of the arm, a butt or an outside thigh. I would just think that having a "special tattoo" in a "special place" that only your intimate guy-friend could see would be more meaningful.
Nevertheless, good luck- post a pic after it heals up.
Inner forearm isn’t bad. Probably my least painful. Don’t drink before you go in and make sure you eat you go in. Aspirin can thin your blood. Bring something to occupy your time cause you’ll be bored. If it starts hurting kinda flex your muscle and it’s easier to deal with (:
20% tip also. Don’t forget to tip the artist🖤 you’ll be alright it definitely is a good spot to get your first tattoo
They usually are renting the space and buying materials with their own money
It’s going to hurt for a little bit but eventually it calms down and just feels like a nail being dragged against your skin , just try not to think about it to much , just remain calm as much as possible , the area tends to get numb so the pain dies down and then it’s smooth sailing from there and be over before you know it
Mmm.. Just make sure you communicate clearly what it is you want so that there is no misunderstandings
😊
My artist knew it was my first tattoo, was very sweet, and made sure he knew exactly what I wanted lol.
I don't know about forearms, but I got my nipples tatted and it definitely wasn't unbearable.
This coming from a complete and total wuss who hates needles.
I got my entire inner forearm as my first piece. The skin on the inner arm is thinner which could be a little more sensitive than other skin. It might be more difficult to deal with the longer the session is but overall doable. The wrist can be a little tough and the elbow pit or however you'd call it. From my experience those spots were the most sensitive.
Pain really depends on your own pain scale
Inner forearm is usually just a little scratchy.
Make sure you eat before hand and drink plenty of water throughout the day. Obviously use the bathroom before you arrive.
Just try relax any flinch could mean a crooked line.
I know you live in Australia but you might not always live there. In many parts of the world, tattoos, especially on women, are seen as trashy and low class. In some places, only prostitutes have tattoos. Do you really want to do this?
If you must, try to have them only use blue ink - the laser we use responds better to blue ink and you won't scar as badly when you want it removed. Colored inks are really difficult to remove and you will scar a lot if you try to have them removed. Even better - don't do it to begin with.
Inner forearm tattoos hurt the most near the elbow and on the wrist.
The pain isn’t that bad at all, tbh I thought it was gonna be worse going into it.
But it just feels like a consistent scratch.
Make sure you keep it out of the sun for about 3 weeks or so and keep it clean and moisturized
Looking forward to seeing your piece 🔥
Eat beforehand preferably something meaty and heavy. You'll need the protein.
Also depending on your pain tolerance, you might have a little pain or extreme amounts of pain. If you need to take breaks during the tattoo, I suggest take them but just be aware that from what I'm told doing so actually makes the pain worse, I don't know from personal experience as my pain tolerance is high and ever session I have ever had has been done without breaks.
Only as bad as you let yourself think it hurts. Just don't show anyone until it's healed, you'll likely get the your in the club tat slap. You'll be fine. I didn't even feel the top of my foot that much, and I'm ticklish as a MF.
Don't drink alcohol beforehand thinking it will numb the pain it will only speed up your blood flow and make you more susceptible to pain (an advice I was told not something I made up myself)
Don't drink around the time and after as it can effect the look off the tat carry some lucazade or a chocolate bare with u
Have you thought about this for awhile before deciding if you want it or not?
Tattoos tend to hurt worse in areas where the sun doesn't get to, but its gonna hurt no matter what.
Cool, I think Its wise to do that. May I ask what sort of tattoo you are gonna get?
Once the area you have the tattoo on gets wrinkles, you will regret it but you are only 19 now and would not get what i'm saying now!
If tattoos were really that bad, nobody would get them. You'll be fine. For me the worst part is getting tired because I'm focusing so hard on not moving lol.
I’ve never had one but I think it’d be like having a whole bee colony sting you slowly
Don't do it! A tattoo will not make you prettier than you already are.
Many people, including potential future employers, do NOT have a thing for tattoos. At my office, we do not hire anyone with visible tattoos and if they have any that are not visible during the job interview, they are told that any tattoos must remain hidden at all times while on the job.
@tinaaas. Someday you will be a grandmother and will regret a bunch of stupid tattoos.
Eat before you go or your blood sugar will drop and you may get dizzy.
I have heard they hurt. You bad with paint tolerance? You need to relax and put your mind elsewhere
Sit still. Don't argue about price. Make sure you know what you want
THEY REALLY FUCKING HURT AND DEPENDS ON HOW GOOD THE TATTOO ARTIST TAKES TO GET IT DONE.
Didn't want to sugarcoat it.
Don't drink alk bevor
Rest in peace. It was nice knowing you. No one has ever survived an endeavor like this before :/
inner forearms are VERY sensitive... bring tissues, your eyes will water
Just be very sure and only do it if hit has an actual meaning and no names
Be clear with the place.
Make sure the tattoo indicates your permenance with someone/something.
Avoid caffeine and pain killers. It loosens the skin.
why you're getting a tattoo during a virus, i dk
if i can't go to work, why are you able to get a tattoo?
That's not how it works
Don't.
You don't need to go down the skank path.
Please don’t do it, you will regret it. Getting a tattoo is a sin and also is ugly.
Why would you do it when it is sinful, do you not care about that?
Yes, an urgent tip... cancel your appointment. Don't get any.
Daaaam girl, you're hooot.
Jeezzz
You arab!
Which country?
Be afraid be very afraid
That isn't to bad pain wise
Good luck. Dont watch?
Think about if your really want it.
I soooo want to get my first tat! How was it?
My tip is simple, don't do it.
DO NOT. Get the tattoo. Very unwise idea.
dont get a naff tattoo
Pain is subjective
Yeah - cancel it.
If you're dead set on doing it, don't put it someplace on your body where sagging, discoloration and age will make it noticeably ugly when you get older.
No..
You'll regret it.
Yes don’t do it
Don’t.
Update:
Congrats on the decision you’ll spend the rest of your life convincing yourself you don’t regret.
Keep it temporary
