People with tattoos, what is the meaning of your tattoos?

I have a hot pink Playboy bunny tattoo on one arm, and a matching baby blue one on the other arm. The pink one represents "her", my lifetime partner, my "playgirl", the love of my life permanently affixed to my arm for all to see.

The blue one represents "me", her lifetime partner, her "playboy", her other half.

When I cross my arms the bunnies are forever facing each other for all of eternity.

Turns out, my girlfriend didn't like being seen in public with a guy sporting giant bunnies so obviously visible. I told her I got them large and so visible so everybody could see my love for you. She broke up a week later.

I'm just glad I didn't get our names underneath each bunny as the tattoo artist suggested, that would be so hard to explain to others.

My tattoos are not visible unless i am half nude or! wearing tanks tops. They are personal and it has meaning only to me. Some find it mainstream and some find it a scream for attention, but they are not visible and they they/reminds me of things and the struggle and all my journeys i had in my life.

95% of people who get tattoos do it saying that they want to be "individuals", "stand out from the crowd" and yet they're a little too stupid to understand that that butterfly tattoo they just had done... 100,000 people have it too.

That is why 95% of people who get tattoos don't have any meaning behind it.

Unless in memory of someone dead - you were in the military and it's a unit tattoo - or you're gangbanger or mafia... tattoos have no meaning. Can't when, as said, 95% of people just get it because they can.

When I was 19 after me and my ex broke up for the 4th time before we got back together (long story) I was planning on getting a tattoo of a dreamcatcher on the side where my ribcage is
Then when I was 22 I said if I ever have kids I was going to get their names tattooed on me Now I'm 24 and honestly don't want a tattoo at all

I have a saturn on my hip. It's for a song called Saturn by sleeping at last that is getting me through my panic attacks or could prevent one if I feel one comming up. It is so slow and peaceful and it helps me keep my breathing and heart beat slow as well.
