Thoughts on men wearing heels?

Lol, not really a guy thing.
however a lot do when wearing boots or Cuban heel boots.
https://www.westernbootbarn.com.au/cowboy-boot-heel-types

Now have I worn high heels,,, yes I have, the first time was in a school play.
Also for some reason whenever fancy dress piss ups are mentioned guys will shove on a dress, skirt etc and heels lol
the other week I was out with a bunch of friends (mainly girls), 2 of whom are ex dancers and we were discussing lap dances.
they showed what can be done, then I offered to do the same, I was fine until wearing heels lol, then ripped my calf muscle.🤦🤦
for normal daily wear it’s not really something guys can get away with other than those that wear boots which have a heel, personally I can’t stand cowboy boots etc.
Thanks for MHG, most appreciated
No. Just no
I honestly do not care what another person wears; as long as we're not married! I wouldn't want my soulmate to be walking around in heels and dressing like a female or acting like one; on a regular basis. I'm sorry but I have certain standards!
Let people do whatever they want to do and leave them alone.
the more types of people you allow into society the more groups whose interests we must appease, eventually democracy breaks down as there is no room to compromise with so many groups.
a healthy dose of intolerance keeps society together

The attractive thing about women wearing heels is the dexterity of it all.
Most men might be able to run faster than most women but there will women who run faster than most.
In other words there are overlaps in physical capabilities between men and women and it is more than an average.
BUT with dexterity there is almost no overlap. The least dexterous woman is more dexterous than the most dexterous. So female dexterity is goddamn sexy and stilettos is advertising that quality.
I doubt even a drag queen could wear stilettos without breaking their ankle.
Notice the guy is sitting down. If he tried to walk in those shoes he would be clumsy and clumsy is not sexy.
Admittedly, seeing a man wearing heels would look strange and out of the ordinary to me. But live and let live I say. I've noticed that there are far too many homophobes (mostly men), that act as if things like this should be a crime punishable by death. Grow up! There are far more important thinks to be getting angry about. 🤦🏻♀️
small differences grow to big differences over time. allowing the social norms to break down leads to violence and war and death. intolerance keeps society together.
@007kingifrit What a load of nonsense. People will do what makes them happy either way. If such a trivial thing will lead to war, the system really is broken and it needs to be fought against. Not succumbed to.
@Kjoseph66 you're free to disagree all you like. I speak nothing but truth as far as I'm concerned. You don't have to agree with the way people live their lives. But, as long as it is not hurting others, you do not have the right to try and dictate how they live it.
small differences grow to big differences over time. keeping people united with a healthy amount of intolerance is good for everyone
@Kjoseph66 every action hurts someone. it's entropy
Didn't men originally invent high heels for themselves? Don't know for sure but it probably started as an ego battle. Because short men aren't taken as seriously.
So I say yeah! Let's make them socially acceptable again! I mean, I won't be wearing them but I wouldn't want someone to not wear them just because I wouldn't.
I am amazed with some of these questions --- There are some questions I am going to ignore. They are too off the wall for me.
My first thought is who would ask this kind of question? -- but if this is a serious question, what kind of heels are you talking about -- most all shoes have some kind of heel -- unless they are sandal/flip-flops. Short men sometimes wear a higher than normal heel to add height -- or if for some reason one leg is shorter than the other -- an elevated or shorter heel maybe of benefit in ambulation.
But men in high heels is either a joke or fetish kind of thing.
Who am I to Judge men that go their own way.
Besides, O went to meet a female friend of mine in a shopping mall without a T-shirt or shirts of any kind. She took it as a laugh, told me to put on my shirt and at the coffee table, she stated that if I ever do that again, she will go home. This just shows how confidence in going your own way can backfire, easily backfire.
Men invented them on boots for getting on horses.
Women started wearing them for a somewhat masculine look and for what it did for their figure. Started making more feminine versions. Then men stopped wearing them so as to not look feminine.
I'd say bring back masculine heels. But I'm 6"2' so that would be awkward for me. Lol.
We used to long, long ago, but we gave them up,
Unless you are on horse back they are an impediment, see the potted history of men in heel in the web page below;
https://artsandculture.google.com/story/the-high-life-a-history-of-men-in-heels/iQJCgMgwSKV5Kw
It doesn't suit them but they can do whatever they wanna do.
Men should be the ones wearing heels because a lot of women and society treats short men poorly and gives them body dysmorphia. Historically men were the ones who wore heels any ways so they should just go at it again.
it's mentally wrong headed and subversive to the social order
protecting the social order prevents violence, tolerance allows too many groups to enter the mainstream of society and thus even more tolerance is needed to maintain it. but that's an unsustainable positive feedback loop. only intolerance keeps societies together
Funny thing... high heels used to be worn by men in, if i remember correctly, the 1800s by french high class society, but over time when they went out of style, women started wearing them because it made them look taller and classy in a dress. So if men started wearing them again, i highly recommend against stilettos... granted i recommend against wearing high heels all together due to the damage they cause from long term use.
Someone who lost a bet while drunk & has too little self-respect to say fuck off to "the boys".
When heels are uncomfortable enough as it is, only someone rather stupid would want to wear them when they don't have to.
simply no. I already have a hard time understand why women wear something they consider being uncomfortable. So I don´t see a reason to wear them. I think guys that wear them are experimenting are some extravagant artists and not ordinary guys.
I wouldn’t advise it as heels are incredibly uncomfortable. But they are his feet and his choice, so don’t really care.
LOL :D
He could at least have selected black shoes, to go with the suit. The red stands out too much :D
No, men look ridiculous in high heels!
Personally I consider it to be down right ridiculous... However, it's their prerogative, so one must Live and Let Live.
Nothing wrong with it. I just they made them more masculine style. If I could find some in my size with a mans styling. I would wear some
Because men wore high heels first in the 16 & 17th centuries
Our office dress code specified no open toes or heels more than four inches. Although it was taken for granted that this applied to women's shoes, it wasn't specified.
Fine with me, if they don't fall over in them.
I didn't see him fall down
@humanearth No, but he IS wearing heels.
I watch the whole thing in hopes he fall on his ass
@humanearth Sorry if it was misleading. I just wanted to show him in heels. I watched several of his videos and this was the only one I could find with him in heels, and I KNOW I've seen him in women's heels before.
Why can't they make men's heel. Like higher heels on cowboy boots or something less girly
@humanearth They used to. Back in the `70's I had a really nice pair of blonde tan boots (the first shoes I ever bought with my own money) with 2" heels. Some guys had 4" heels.. A lot of people had platform shoes, too! 4" heels with 1" thick soles. Elephant bells were all the rage at the same time, too.
Elton John used to always wear high heeled shoes! His most outrageous pair were his Pinball Wizard shoes.
https://youtu.be/H_r_dWenKhk
So did Gene Simmons from kiss
That pinball player guy looked stoned off his ass in the end of the video
@humanearth Roger Daltry. He's playing the part of Tommy who's SUPPOSED to be deaf dumb and blind. You've never heard the album, "Tommy"? The Who performed the entire album at lots of their gigs in `69 to the early early `70's. Even at Woodstock.
Yes I have hears of it, just never saw the video before
@humanearth Me neither. Just a picture of him 40-some years ago with those shoes on.
it looks strange to me but if they want to it ok I guss
It's not that men (referring specifically to heterosexuals) can't wear heels. It's just that it is odd, peculiar rather because it's a feminine shoe meant to compliment the looks of a lady.
Lol this looks like something out of the multiverse
I am a man and I wear heels.
I was a manly and proud man to be honest. But my new girlfriend started feminizing me and I ended up liking it over time.
They are... weird
Originally heels and crop tops were made for men only.
Its their life they can do what they like. I do t really see why a guy would need to wear them but up to them!
Effeminate as fuck. Transvestite.
The only heels I've ever worn or would ever wear are boots with 1.5" Cuban heels.
Dumb, it's enough that some women hurt their feet to add length to themselves. Why would men do it? We should know better.
A man who wears heels is not a man I would rely on.
Go for it, Kings.
I reserve the right to glare up at your even taller frames. And might ask where you got em.
Probably not like stilettos like that butttt, i do think men should be at least allowed to wear kitten heels or something like that. ya know
did you know guys were the original wearers of heels, the skirt too
They hurt like hell lol. Not sure why a guy would wanna wear them except to make himself look taller.
Well that is just DUMB! Men should only wear heels on cowboy boots with a cowboy heel.
Well historically heels were originally made for men so it'd be kind of accurate.
But considering how painful those look, I don't why men or women would want to wear them.
George Washington wore them and heels were initially invented for men. But those are not masculine heels like the founding fathers wore.
Gonna drop or push kick him... everytime I see him. Just for entertainment
No. Even though the extra height would benefit me greatly, still no.
You won’t be fee;i guess the extra height when you fall on your face, anyway. :)
“feeling” wow.
I find heels on a woman unattractive, on a man it just looks disgusting.
He can wear heals but god help me if he thinks he can pull off red heels w/ black suit
No problem. They were invented for them in the first place anyway. Funny how people make a big deal out of men wearing makeup, skirts and heels when in the past it was literally a normal thing.
If they want to damage their ankles, knees and back as women do, they are free to do so, the damage increases as weight increases and men usually weigh more.
Men do wear heels. Just not the kind that you've in the picture.
It’s hilarious. Even male crop tops from the 1990s are better than that.
People should wear whatever they want, without being bothered by other, small minded, people.
it damages society and increases violence to allow social deviancy because the more people you let into the mainstream the more interests there are to appease
The fuck are you talking about? It's a pair of shoes. It's none of your concern.
it breaks the simalarities between us. and leads to greater change later, this causes war eventually.
simple differences build over time
Differences more often than not, and without any war, are eventually accepted between people. There is normally resistance by the "normal" people, but rarely any war. That's pretty clear if you look at history.
all of history is differences getting bigger. only genocide and rape make peace
You're an idiot
i win, you resorted to insults because you lost the debate
Debating with you is pointless. That was never my intention.
Yes, very smart looking. They go good with skinny jeans,
My only thought is why the f*** would a man wear heels? No way I had a second thought the word stupid came to mind.
So what a pair of stilts
I think it looks redonkulous and I don't even like them on women, much less on men. Haha
Men do not need them as they are usually tall enough.
Not attractive to me, but a guy can wear whatever he wants.
I personally think it's ugly and not practical even on women but i'm not stopping anyone from wearing it.
gay guys wear heels i saw a gay guy go to forever 21 he buy a skirt
Guys actually wear heels to look taller sometimes lol. Tbh 😂 i wouldn't mind to do it for trolls
Wtf is up with all the cross dressing and trans shit these days. Everyone I know thinks it's crazy (on the left and right)
If that was the road to heaven, i would rather go to hell.
Typical of this time we are in. It wouldn't surprise me at all.
But I would laugh at them.
Its humorous. can't imagine he seriouslt wore those
No, please no!
I get skirts and Scotland but this? Just no.
You wouldn't catch me wearing heels
Nah not my thing. If u don’t mind please follow me in trying to l increase my numbers
