The ideal outfit would be silky or lace blouses paired with mid-length skirts or trousers. I'm a huge fan of 50's style and I also like Dark Academia styles.

The problem with the trousers above is that they're too long so it ends up looking too bunched up at the end. I get all my trousers hemmed at the bottom since they're typically too long. I can find vintage trousers that are perfect length. If I want to go for a more high waist look then I buy oversize and then hem the bottom.

I know oversized is trending right now. But, you can still shorten the bottom for a more flattering look.

Yeah the trousers I bought aren’t as long and fit me better, they’re a bit less baggy too. I just don’t want to post me as a reference so I tried to find online photos similar to what I have. I really like dark academia styles, but sometimes they look a little bit too formal for settings. What would you pair C’s pants (if they were less long) with? I’m a fashion disaster, I was thinking a tight top like that one but it’s hot so I wanted to go with a tight non-cropped tee shirt with some sort of outerwear like a thin cardigan but I’m not sure.
