Are stretched ears/gauges becoming popular among boys?

Seems like everyone has stretched earlobes now. Is it a good thing? Is it healthy?

I think they are becoming popular again but I think the size of the gages are staying relatively decent. Like instead of guys going to the extreme size they are sticking with smaller like this 🔵 < lol it’s the best example I could come up with. Personally I think they look terrible if they’re too big but that’s just me.

I think it is trending, but I’d hate to see any guy with stretched earlobes, not wearing the rings in them at night 😂😭 Maybe that’s just me though.

It’s been a trend for the last decade, probably longer. It’s a very popular body mod and I think it looks good on both men and women who look after their ears and stretch over time, avoiding blowouts, and use correct types of plugs. Not people who buy those cheap plastic stretching kits off of wish and force a 3mm plug through their ear right off the bat. That’s a quick way to fuck up your earlobe.

I've seen way more guys with them than girls. I saw guys with them probably ten years before I ever saw a girl with them. This is obviously anecdotical but to to be it seems like it started out to be more common in males and switched to females and now it is pretty with both

Healthy? No. Anything you stretch out can eventually sag. Some may have to have the bottom half of their lobes removed or surgically remodelled.
