You have a right to break up with someone for whatever reasons you feel. I think it’s weird to ask someone to date you before even knowing what their actual face looks like and such. Do I think it’s a shallow reason? Absolutely. You vibed with her up until that point. To me it seems like you really didn’t care about her and just wanted a girlfriend up until you didn’t find her looks attractive
