I've always found them really dainty and feminine in a 'cutesy' way instead of sexy like a heel.

I'm not a huge heel fan if I'm honest. I appreciate them, they can be sexy, elongate the legs, and all other sorts of things but for some reason, I just didn't take to them as much as other girls.

Strange? Maybe; when I think of all the weddings I've been to, the type of shoes the bride was wearing rarely come up; in large part because I saw rarely SAW them. It may be unusual, but you'll be on your feet a LONG time, and if you go with flats, your feet and the floors will thank you.

I’m a flats lover also. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bride wear them though. Wedges are another option that’s in-between.

I think you should wear whatever you feel is the most comfortable and attractive to you. It's your day, not anyone else's. If they don't like it they don't have to look.

If you're going to wear a wedding dress, your shoes will often not be seen. But I think high heels would be more appropriate.
