If it does not go against the school's dress policy then legally it's okay. But I would be opposed to it in a non-law (whatever the word would be) way because it sends a messed up message to the kids. Skirts are a female fashion. Men are men and women are women. So he should not be wearing skirts.

It’s definitely not a myth. You can look at the statistics on men in daycare, grammar and grade skool positions compared to women. It used to be about 1:5, but it’s actually been getting lower in this age of “progress”. Gender norms are supposed to be going away, and yet we trust men with children less now than when traditional roles were more prevalent. You can call it whatever you want, but the stats support my observations.

That seems like a bold statement to me, and unless you searched into the currant employment of preschool teachers, there are male teachers out there (like the one I saw during my interview). Sure there are many perverts out there, but there are many others that are not

I do doubt that there are male preskool teachers. All you’ve done is present anecdotal evidence that is contrary to mine. No proof has been produced. Again, call it “bold”, call it a “myth”, call it whatever. In my lifetime i’ve seen more fathers accused of kidnapping their own kids than i’ve seen male teachers for kids grade 4 and lower. There are female perverts out there raping kids too, but that hasn’t generated the same level of paranoia or apparently altered the hiring practices of these skools.
