To answer THAT question you must be WILLING to drop the Christian promulgated BULLSHIT as to what is the foremost REASON for kaftans, robes, slit Quipaos/Cheongsams, talbards, kilts, skirts and dresses as opposed to trousers! (Expedient accessibility to One's 'animal' genitals for bodily functions! )
Back when I used to teach introductory Parapsychology in the 70's one of the questions on teaching 'contextual insightfulness' I'd pose to my predominantly female students was:
"in these modern times, what is YOUR understanding of 'why' modern Feminist females STILL favor skirts and dresses over wearing unisexual trousers?"
And almost to a person, even when pressed for an answer, I NEVER got a CANDID PRAGMATIC reply from ANY female, to THAT question.
In light of the current state of female undergarments, you are NEVER any greater intimately exposed than as if in a bikini swimsuit.
Don't forget the 3-piece bikini!! 2 bottle caps and a cork!
I find it really funny when people say ignorant things like "feminizing men" and "destroying masculinity". Clothing is a part of culture. Skirts being for girls is a mordern western thing. Lungis/Sarongs in india, Lavalavas belonging to Polynesian regions, Ihram being worn by Muslim men during pilgrimage, Kanga/Kikoy/Lappa in africa, men's Hakama in Japan etc. I could go on and on.
Even In history, through written accounts, paintings, and sculptures ancient Egyptian kings can be seen wearing skirt like clothing, greeks had their own skirt like garments, even depictions of Henry VIII have him wearing what we would today call a skirt.
Outside Western cultures, men's clothing commonly includes skirts and skirt-like garments; however, in North America and much of Europe, the wearing of a skirt is today usually seen as typical for women and girls and not men and boys, the most notable exceptions being the cassock and the kilt.
Skirts have been worn since prehistoric times. They were the standard dressing for men and women in all ancient cultures in the Near East and Egypt.
So smart yet so dumb. Crazy.
@ToastyOats you don’t have to agree with my point of view, but you don’t have to be an asshole and insult my intelligence. I just don’t really care how other people want to dress, why is it such a big deal for you?
This question comes up every so often. It's so ridiculous that I hope it doesn't come back again for another period of time, like a year maybe.

Not crazy.
This kid disturbs me honestly.
Yeah? How about those pants?

Men should be able to wear whatever they want! Work it!
Does that mean sticking tampons up their asses and training bras to go with their outfits? Wait, I know what it is. Not them trying to create a one world government but just the recognizing of one sex. :(
@Daniela1982 I like you
@Daniela1982 What's tampons got to do with wearing a skirt? Do you run around with an unrolled rubber up your pussy all day, every day?
@FunkyMonkee If you want to be a girl then do like a girl.
@Daniela1982 Okay, mister, if that's how you feel about it! What does wearing a skirt or dress have to do with being a girl? Wearing one WON'T make your balls drop off (contrary to popular belief)!!
@FunkyMonkee No one is holding you back from looking like a cross dresser so go for it. This gender bending shit is beginning to be ridiculous.
@Daniela1982 No one's held you back and you've been doing it all your life!
Then, why do you do so much of it? Is somebody MAKING you wear pants?
@FunkyMonkee Women have been wearing pants since before WWII when all the factory girls wore overalls. They liked it so the fashion world started making slacks for girls, like capris and "pedal pushers". . But the fashion world did not make dresses for men. This is more abhorrent behavior of the modern times. Of course today women wear very little. I suppose men will follow that too.
@Daniela1982 And men have been wearing skirts and dresses for the past few thousand years so, what's your point?
Men all over the world have been wearing skirts and dresses for a LOOOONG rime, what do you mean the fashion world doesn't make skirts for men? It depends on which fashion world you're talking about! The western world is about the only one behind the curve!
@FunkyMonkee They weren't called skirts and dresses. They were robes and unisex garments because no one had any money for separate ward robes. Why don't men wear the weird clothing of the 15th century too? how about armor and chastity belts too? If you want to call the clothing of the past a reason to wear dresses today then let's be fair and wear all the clothes of the past Mr. Shakespeare? I'd love yo see you in ruffles and leotards.
@Daniela1982 They're called kilts, cassocks and robes but they're still skirts!! Caligula wore a micro mini skirt, Ben Her wore a leather mini, Marvin the Martian wears one just like it!
Women wore chastity belts so guys couldn't fuck them while their husbands were away fighting in battles. Do you have one?
Well, YOU'RE calling the clothing of the past (100 years ago) a reason to keep wearing them, today! Funny how it never seems to go both ways! Rules for me but none for thee!
I've already done leotards. The last 20 years that I was in my band I wore a leo to keep my body sweat from getting into my hands and giving me blisters while trying to hold my sticks. Function, not fashion!! Here, have a look! https://youtu.be/QCmjPHz5spg
@FunkyMonkee Tell the truth, you just want to have wild monkey sex in your thong and micro mini skirt.
@Daniela1982 Just as much as you want to have wild monkey sex in your suit, tie, moustache and butch voice! Do you EVER take off that satrap-on?
@FunkyMonkee Come on, think up your own insults. *taps foot*
@Daniela1982 Okay, Danny, I'll try.
I don't see any reason why they shouldn't! In the first place men have been wearing skirts or dresses throughout history! Don't believe me? Go to some religious place and see all the men running around in various forms of DRESSES to this very day because it's what was worn BY MEN a few thousand years ago! Secondly, if a girl can wear pants, why can't a guy wear a skirt or a dress? Thirdly, a guys balls work a lot better when they hang AWAY from the rest of his body!! You were saying something about feminizing men? Well, make him wear pants and that exactly what you're doing!! How often do pants allow that to happen? It also helps create more sperm so, his cum loads will be bigger!
It was barely 100 years ago that women even started wearing pants on a regular basis!! Up until then, in fact, even well into the early `60's, women wearing pants was heavily fowned upon!! Partly, it was because they felt the crotch of a pair of pants would not only cause infections (which they can!) but, they'd rub up against your clit and make you sexually aroused!! A HUGE no-no at the time!!
Two of you bimbos here (so far that I've seen. I haven't read ALL of the comments, only about 1/4 of them.) claim that you'll never date a guy that wears a skirt! If that's the way you want to go about it, expect to be lonely for the rest of your lives if men take the same stance and choose not to date you because you wear pants or suits & ties or keep your hair extremely short or even shaved! What makes you think we'd WANT to date someone with such a shallow opinion? But, we're not allowed to be that way, are we? That'd be sexist, right? Funny how YOU can swing both ways on that issue AND in choice of attire, but we can't!! What's all that about equal rights and how you don't have as much freedom as we do?
A man can wear a skirt.
A kilt is not a dress. It might technically seem like one, but it's way more fabric that overlaps. I know, I have a few. There are modern kilts and sport kilts. They are similar to a dress, but often lighter and cheaper. And they can hang like a dress. A real heavyweight kilt is not easy to get into cars or sit comfortably. They are for special Celtic/Gallick get-togethers and events.
The issue is that if people see you, they will lose respect if a man. You will be considered a weirdo. If you have no standing in the community or professional considerations, then it doesn't matter what a guy wear, so long as it's not crossing any local ordinances.
Kilts are absolute shite. Crazy.
Yes, there is nothing wrong in boys wearing skirt.
Skirt is one of the cutest and most loved outfits according to me.
everyone has a right to dress up what ever they want.
infact i have seen 2-3 boys wearing it too they looked cool..
I actually think this person is a pedophile.
Do whatever the hell you want. I’m libertarian. That means I don’t care what you do but that also means you can’t control my personal opinions of you either.
I think any one should be free to do what they want. But no one should have to be forced to support or “celebrate” bizarre behavior either.
I’ll look at a guy who does this as someone who just lost a bet. However if he is serious about it he likely has some deep mental issues going on. He’s attention seeking.
I’ll make an exception for Scottish kilts though. That was a cultural thing and had nothing to do with gender non conformity.
Special variety of crazy.
@ToastyOats excuse me?
I can and do wear a kilt for various things from parties, to weddings, and random stuff.
now, it’s accepted, even praised how manly it is wearing a kilt.
Now if I was to wear a normal skirt I would be slagged off for wearing it.
the only difference is the pattern..
Crazy.
it's not illegal, so it is "okay."
But legal does mean that most people will accept it. And it really doesn't matter whether you think people SHOULD accept it. You have no right to expect them to change their beliefs, values, preferences, etc. for your benefit. If you want to wear a dress and other people disapprove, that's just the way it's going to be. Deal with it.
But legal doesn't mean. . .
I mean if they want to I guess but I think it just looks strange. I mean who wants to see hairy legs at the bottom of a skirt. Maybe if they have good legs and shave or have naturally hairless legs it might not look so bad. It's strange though how the kilt doesn't look out of place on a man 🤷🏻♂️
Not for me. Skirts and dresses were made for a reason and that was aimed to women period. SOon this world will become unigender how sad!!
That is very closed minded, skirts have been worn since prehistoric times and are still a worn in man many cultures today.
Skirts were actually originally made for men... They originated in ancient Egypt. The more wealthy a man was the better material his Shendyt (skirt) was.
As for dresses they were gender neutral. Everyone wore them, children would often wear them up to age 6 and get this, boys would wear pink and girls would wear blue because pink was considered a masculine color.
Only goes to show how everything is socially constructed.
@Aimée__LJ exactly thank you
My two cents, in the late 1700s and early 1800s men wore high heel type of shoe. They believed taller you look the higher up the food chain you were.
Womens then started doing it and its became the normal for women and men stop wearing them, because they now thought it was too feminine to wear heels
So there was a gender swap back then and now the gender lines in clothing is changing again.
Its just the way humans are.
@kitty71 you're confusing the style and design pattern fabric material of a skirt vs a kilt or other "skirts" men wear in the eastern hemisphere. and all these other comments are right. western culture is somewhat fucked up. do a little history reading and open up your mind you might learn a few things and remember a few old things stuff you may have forgotten at your age
Not crazy. The other people who replied are 😜 super crazy!
@ToastyOats is your masculinity so fragile that you are actually threatened by what other people wear?
@Subarugirl No. Masculinity does not have those kind of problems. It takes care of them. 😎
@ToastyOats I don't know you seem pretty feminine to me
@Subarugirl why do you hate men so much?
@Subarugirl your literally using your own identity as an insult🤔. Do you not being a woman?
@ToastyOats she's not using it as an insult. You see it as an insult. That's the problem.
@Subarugirl the likes and dislikes show who's right. O think the mass majority has the more accurate opinion than you one disliker
@Aimée__LJ im a man though. Its not an insult to call me a banana, it is simply innacurate. To the extent im being mislabeled, i must defend my true identity. You are trying to harm men by promoting a behaviour that will undermine there true natures, that's short sighted and mean... Im not doing that to you.
@ToastyOats How does a piece of clothing harm men? and why are you so afraid of being seen as feminine, or having a feminine side?
@ToastyOats okay, Im butting in here.
You think a man wearing something that might look or even be girly. How would that make him less of man.
I think you have some strange fears or something
@humanearth Im not afraid to be my true self. It does not include any feminine attributes. When I am compassionate it is as a man would be and when I have emotions it is as a man would have them. Same for when I dress. Men, the vast majority, are practically minded, and a skirt serves no useful purpose and does nothing to enhance his status or appeal to anyone... not even you. Historical Data: Dresses are from a time before bathrooms and running water, they exist because women needed a way to piss and shit without being exposed. Now that that need is gone theyre is no practical reason for anyone to where skirts instead of shorts except vanity. A total lack of vanity is a big part of my masculine persona. As such it would be an anathema to ever wear such a garment.
You lable me, you judge me, you take my choices for myself as personal insults to you. Why do you hate men so much?
@ToastyOats Me Hate Men, WTF your nuts. All I said How does a skirt make a man less manly
@ToastyOats I don't hate men, I hate that people are so close minded and so fearful of change that they feel like they have the right to dictate what another person does with their own body. I could care less how you dress, my problem is that you feel like you can dictate how other people live their lives because of the way that a piece of fabric is worn.
@Subarugirl you will create a situation where I must exclude my children from your society. I do not want them being led astray, as it is from my perspective. It is my job as a parent to protect my children and it is not your place to try and change them without my permission. That would be child abuse in my eyes, a serious crime.
Being close minded is good. It is like having a strong immune system. Its like I have been vaccinated against your bad ideas. Sorry you cannot see it but they will only lead to harm for you and others.
@humanearth wear one then. Send me a picture. Snazzmagleothon@gmail. com
Fine me last Saturday for 1950s theme party I went to. Now what
Now you post a photo of you in a skirt
@humanearth I think you might just be my new most favorite person!
@Subarugirl what can I say, I rock the poodle skirt and I made it myself
And yes I am a Doctor Who Fan
@humanearth @Subarugirl neither of you are allowed around my children. You don't have a right to other peoples children. I suspect you want that though. Weirdos.
@ToastyOats you still never showed your photo in a skirt, but maybe your just being a little bitch, because your too much of a little girl. All I hear from you is your wineyness and complates. I been dealing with morons like you for well over 20 years. And yes I have been in some fights over this. Won some, lost some fights, but I keep fighting. I won't back down. Just think of this, how would you handle it if a man in dress whips your ass in front of your friends.
@humanearth are you demanding I wear a dress? Its amazing how transparent you are
@ToastyOats don't worry I want nothing to do with you or your family lol I much prefer my own. Also @humanearth challenged you the same way you challenged him... the only difference is he was man enough too accept.
@ToastyOats dude @Subarugirl doesn't hate men she's married for christ sakes
@Rob17792 who knows for sure.
@Subarugirl im man enough to not be bull baited into a humiliating contest.
He gave up the goods like a virgin at an after party for a porno premier. That's the kind of guy he is.
@ToastyOats Do I look humiliated in that photo. humiliate is all in the mind As a matter a fact I won 1st place in the 1950s costume party
girls these days: modern men are so weak and bitchy
Also, girls these days: modern men should wear skirts it's so sexy and masculine...
man, i love this hypocrisy... i don't give a damn bout what any fool thinks imma just do what's in my best interest to get most beautiful ladies...
Uber mensch.
They can but that's not stopping what I think of it personally. I would never wear it unless I have no other choice. But really i know there are gonna be people getting butthurt with what I think of men wearing skirt. I also don't like how neckties look but I'm sure no one would care about that.
Not crazy. Neck tie are shite.
Western skirts and dresses are very feminine whereas other cultures that have long skirt-like garments and fabrics for men are masculine and specifically designed for men. They’re not the usual feminine Western skirts.
Technically what romans wor could be considered a dress for easy access because their politics ran on who got laid more regardless of sex & gender. But for modern masculine look it would go to knee, wear a wide (like weightlifting belt) belt with front & back loin covers, to make it look like wearing a form fitting shirt with waist armor
Crazy, poor understanding of history.
I am a guy who doesn't want to but if other men and boys are into it than they should. I generally think it's silly how most people let women and girls wear both skirts and slacks, while people only expect men and boys to only wear slacks.
Guys can wear w. e they want but I wouldn't date a guy who wore a skirt. A kilt all for it no undies underneath even more for that. But I wouldn't date or have any interest in a man who wore skirts or dresses. Not hot.
I honestly don't care. At the end of day it's a piece of cloth made to hide someone's modesty.
Fashion trends come and go and in certain cultures and in the past males wearing skirts is seen as masculine. Just take kilts for example.
Skirts are acceptable if he's Scottish/Irish. But otherwise no.
Greeks wear them too.
@Rob17792 i know that but they look like skirts so i was telling him its normal for men of hat nationality
@Rob17792 the no underwear thing is only a highland thing. Also yes kilts are technically uniform wear. Apron in front, pleats in back, from waist to half-knee. The uniform is why it is not considered a "skirt", it's considered a "wraping". But yes, nerds wear kilts too but they are untility kilts that have pockets.
@dragoblack uniform for military right? old tradition type military?
@Rob17792 uniform means worn only in a certain manner. But kilts have also only been military, whether it is for the queens highland military, or for a clan. Each tartan was seen as a flag of a militarized clan
I wish I was a girl
I would wear a skirt anytime feel so freeing down their just panties and a skirt
I hate wearing jeans also formal dress sounds more comfortable than suit and tie (I hate putting on Tie always feel like I'm being choked)
You dont need to be a girl to wear a skirt. As for a tie. I like them
Crazy.
Skirts , dresses are for females not men.
Why is the world trying so hard to feminize men? It's wrong but feminist have been doing this for years. Acting like it's wrong for a man to be a man.
In addition any doctor who does sex change operations should have their medical license revoked and spend 10 years in prison not a country club.
Sex change operations and hormone changing treatments are doing great harm to men and their relationships
Lmao I try to respect others opinions but this is so blatantly wrong that I am not sure how to begin. Dresses used to be universal because it was easier and cheaper to make. Men used to wear makeup and powdered wigs. Kilts are totally a thing still.
As a feminist I haven't been out forcing guys into skirts. If a guy wants to wear one, I'll support him, but stop taking the scapegoat route of blaming us just because you are hateful and have a myopic view of the world.
Also, you do realize people can take hormones and develop secondary sex characteristics and never get surgery right? Gender reassignment surgery helps people dealing with dysphoria and if anything that makes those doctors life savers. You want to put heroes in prison? What is next, firefighters? Sick...
@Ez-Bri-Z thats what I called having someone chewed out
Take note that most women will say you can wear whatever you want, but that just means they think it should be acceptable in that you won't get lynched. They fail to distinguish that it will still be subject to their sense of attraction and will probably impact your attractiveness negatively.
I think that it should be normalized but to wear something that fits the male figure, like to make a male skirt and dresses...
Super crazy.
I have yet to see any guy look presentable in a skirt or dress.
It's just not fashionable or possible to put the male form into a maxi dress or mini skirt without making it a joke or drag act.
Yes, guys used to wear skirts in the old times and in some cultures they still do so why not
Crazy.
Can they? legally, yes. You can wear what you want
But socially? Will I accept it? no, and I do not have to "accept" these fairyboys dressing like girls.. I will laugh at and mock them every time,. men should dress. like. men. Not girls... Get a sex change first before you do that
I don't want myself and children to be mentally scarred and disturbed every time we see these freaks of nature walking around in public... Keep it to yourself your scaring the children
It does not hurt me, and I won't mind it.
It's going to be painful for me not to make fun of you though... so if I can't make fun of you, that's going to be a problem. Exceptions for Scottish people wearing kilts.
Sure! They Already can wear them , Some already do others choose not too. WHO Cares what people choose to wear? If you don't like it don't look at them.
Crazy.
Hello World. IMHO, Women and Girls are to be pretty/concerned with outward appearance. Men and Boys, throughout history, have mostly taken the hard path in life, and as such the ideal visage of a man is one who wears simpler clothing. If you happen to wear a dress for comedic, cultural or artistic purposes, then fine, but it should not be brought into mainstream fashion, because at least in (classical) American society, It is the feminine way. You do you.
I would wear a Scottish Kilt proud of my ancestry and I ran into some guy
at my local Walmart on St Patrick's Day he was from Ireland he called me
Lad, I just love the accents
The guy was wearing a green kilt
I think only gay men would be interested in such thing. As a heterosexual female, a man with skirt is disgusting to me.
Nope... I don't care about girls. When I said a man with skirt is disgusting to me, I meant it would be a turn off to me.
@ Anon, so you are saying the majority of men in Scotland, Ireland and Northumberland are Gay?
Oh and bunch of Canadians and Americans?
@ChrisMaster69 Don't forget the Greeks and Polynesians!
@ChrisMaster69 It is a tradition or something, not a daily thing. I've been to Scotland and Ireland. No men had skirts, lol... You guys know what I mean, do not divert the topic. :)
@Rachelspiks Silly :D
Not crazy.
F off with that crap.
When I was in college some guy wrote in the college paper about how he had worn a skirt for awhile because he had poison oak and couldn't stand pants. People gave him a lot of shit even though this was an infamously liberal college.
Why should I care what someone else where's? We aren't in 1970 anymore, a girl wears pants a guy can wear a skirt there case closed lol.
k im wearing speedos!
I don't think I could help from laughing seeing a guy in a dress. Maybe the bride and groom can both wear white wedding dresses?
If it's a historically male form of skirt or a toga that's fine. Otherwise I vote no.
Barely sane.
Then they would have to worry about wind. Just ask the Scott’s.
Neutral.
@ToastyOats It was a joke.
Yeah they should, everyone should be able to wear whatever they want
@FinalFantasyBro Still love her and will never consider divorce.
This thread is all crazy people!
I've already seen some men wear it.
And I don't really care. Actually it's not a bad idea. Probably a lot better than keeping those balls stuffed in the pants all day especially when it's hot.
Crazy. Try shorts.
Sure why not Scots wear kilts and they're macho as fuck
No they never did. An englishman opened a lumbermill in scotland and the lads were too poor to afford clothes to work in, so he provided them with loin cloths. The actual kilt was never a skirt.
@IcedLemonade Nice way to kill a ladys buzz. (just giving you a hard time)
@humanearth I dont like ladies.
Crazy.
Anyone should. be able to wear what they want, regardless of how cringe it is in others eyes.
I think they should be able to, but I think it looks okay and pulled off if it looks masculin-ish/man-ish.
It never looks good.
@ToastyOats I used to think that there are no such thing as male formal dressy sandals, then looked them up online, and there actually is such thing as male formal dressy sandals. And it looks good with even tuxedo!
Sure, we had a massive movement of women who didn't want to wear dresses and wanted to wear pants instead. 50 years later. 🙄 Maybe men should wear dresses, dur urrrrr😴 retards.
You can wear a fursuit or a clown costume in public for all I care, as long as it's not too revealing or explicit in some way
Crazy.
no, how we dress tells us how we think. a society can only handle so many types of thinking in it at once before it becomes impossible to form community and maintain unity
What message does wearing a skirt send besides that they think it's fashionable to be a degenerate. Those people belong in concentration camps.
Not crazy.
Should, could, would, reality is chicks will lift it up.
When? Ill wait.
@ToastyOats When ever you use it.
I say this as personal experience.
Extinction level fashion event incoming.
@ToastyOats Yeah. Basically. In my experience, skirts, no matter how long, are not the kind of clothing to go comando on.
@anylolone I agree, panties should always be worn with skirts (or any clothing except swim wear).
Laugh... Unless there is some cultural reason for it then go for it but if you want to put one on make sure you dress as a girl.
Crazy, bad grammer.
@ToastyOats Thanks, did not even go to college or University to learn how to make six figures.
Making six figures will not save you from the wrath of the Prole.
@ToastyOats Prole?
Its not a skirt its a kilt. And why not when it comes to clothing function should always take precedent over form
Crazy.
Pant look better on male body but maybe it is culture bias that I talking?
yeah but you also got to account for the cultural setting you're in too. here in america you hardly see anybody wearing kilts unless it was for a certain rare occassion. if it was scotland or Ireland then yes you could see plenty of those. if it was egypt and egypt back 2 millennium or more then Shendyt would be appropriate. likewise with rome when they wore togas
Not crazy!
Probably.
It probably isn't done since trousers can hide an erection better
Feminism want to ruin our fashion too ! WTH. they should hire the undertaker and Stone cold to make men fashion shame on feminine men and the entire feminism shit
Skirts have been worn since prehistoric times. They were the standard dressing for men and women in all ancient cultures in the Near East and Egypt and still are in many different cultures.
@Subarugirl yes and in stone age we were naked and using tree paper to his our ass back then. Every age have its own things we are living in different era if men wear skirts today it's show gay and it's weak unless it's Scottish festival to my knowledge they wear it in special occasion.
Men should wear something manly not something soft and feminine
I bet you prefer undertaker to design your son clothes rather than soft feminine man.
As under say... Peace
Why does what other people want to wear threaten you so much? Does women wearing trousers elicit the same response?
@Subarugirl is everything ancient people did good? Think for yourself. Smh.
@Subarugirl no because trouser are awesome.
@ToastyOats did you miss the part where that time where I said that that type of clothing is still worn today in a lot of cutlers all over the world. And trousers are still seen at large men’s clothing.
@Subarugirl your trying so hard to hurt men. Why?
I only wish you the best.
@ToastyOats I’m not trying to hurt anyone. No one is forcing you to wear a skirt, and I could care less if you wanted to wear one. Why does people wearing what they want threaten you so much?
@Subarugirl there are women out there already FORCING their sons to wear dresses because people like you tell them its okay. You are hurting people.
@ToastyOats Okay well first of all I do not represent all women just like you do not represent all men. If your masculinity is that fragile, that what other people chose to wear threatens your masculinity, that sounds more like a you problem. Were aren't talking about children, we are talking about adults who have the right to express them selves by wearing what they want and feel comfortable in.
@Subarugirl we all should get out naked damn it 🤣🤣🤣
I mean that wouldn’t be an issue if we didn’t have to worry about rape and sexual harassment and assault
@Subarugirl your not a real person. It is your one fault but it is massive.
@ToastyOats first of all it’s you’re. Second of all if I am not a real person… Then who ever programmed me did a damn good job hahahah
Scotts wear kilts but thats a cultural thing.
Skirts? Fuck no
Sure, if you don't mind getting beaten up by bigots.
Guys wearing girls clothes? NEVER.
God finds this an abomination
You had me till God. Think for yourself dude.
Fashion industry want something new all the time to sell their stuffs so why not this time man skirt? I think it’s a good idea
I mean if he can fuck with it, why not?
Only Scottish, tunic and Japanese traditional are looking good on men
Ancient tunics
None of that looks good on men! Crazy.
I believe that men should act like men and dress like men. But it’s your life, live your life. Whatever 🤷♂️🤷♂️
omg you people are complete morons. those aren't skirts they're kilts
i really don't give a shit what people wear. they could dress up like bozo the clown or krusty the klown and i wouldn't give a flying fuck
You seem to have strong feeling about though guy. Just say what you really think.
No. That would make them look less masculine.
Not crazy.
this should have been mho. the QA went with the ones that agreed with him, showing clear bias
Sure, that way I know who not to date 😂
They can wear whatever they want.
Crazy.
Why not, I think it would be fun
I wear a skirt, leggings and everything else. I could care less if it shows. Its part of being a man and I won't hide that.
By the way, I have a love for poodle skirts.
She knew before we even dated. She picked me up at a Fredericks of Hollywood lingerie store. 29 years later we are still together
Comfortable and practicable? This is why I wear shorts or leggings all the time. I'm hardly ever comfortable in a skirt. I have to worry about whether my legs are open or not, have to wear underwear all the time when it's boiling hot outside.
Unless you want to show off your legs for some event or do something formal, skirts aren't practical at all. Pants are. You can sit anyway you like. You're covered. Nothing embarrassing shows.
I live in board shorts in the summer. True, I have to wear sunscreen on my legs, but that's about all. I have a few skirts around. A few dresses, but I'm less and less interested in fashion and more interested in comfort and practicality. Skirts are neither. They're sexy, but not practical.
@Screenwriter That because your a normal woman and not some clothing deprived crossdresser. Once the flood gates open to a CD'er. They are like trying to play catch up on everything they missed out when young.
But after a year or two of the flood gates being open, THE PINK FOG (aka another name for going nuts in the stores on a shopping spees) disapates and things normalize to the new normal.
I went though that PINK FOG craze long long time ago after I got married, my wife pushed me though the FOG to get it out of my system faster
Sorry I was digressing there lets get back on topic
Your right Leggings have to be the most comfortable pants ever made, and I wear shorts a lot to. For the skirt thing well I like them long knee length or longer. My type of skirt is the poodle skirt. There are cheap and easy to make.
Mini skirts on a middle-age man is a joke. Talk about looking silly. Thats stuff is for the young people.
One more thing before I hit submit.
I am not your normal CD'er. I never did none of that face make-up crap and dont do bras. Why buy them if I dont have tits. I dont do the whole female thing either. I look like a dude in womens clothes. Beard, chest hair and all.
So if you ever see a very tall white middle-age guy with a ZZ Top style beard and in a poodle skirt at walmart. That has to be me
Now you can laugh till you pee your board shorts
As long as your crossdressing doesn't lose your friends and family or a job, I don't see the harm in it. I've seen an aussie site that sells men's lingerie and the male model looked great in it. It was well made stuff too. I think the contrast of male musculature, more body hair and features is so interesting. But, I suspect I'm more unusual than not.
I could care less if the man I like wants to wear feminine underwear. If he looks good in a skirt, dress or lingerie, and it makes him feel good, then do it. I love the Red Dress run that guys do every year to raise money for either heart disease or breast cancer. It features the UGLIEST men in dresses you've NEVER wanted to see.
But some of the craziest looking guys, with beards, et al, put together an outfit like nobody's business and WEAR THAT DRESS!!! I do hate the fact that men are jailed in boring suits. Jon Batiste on the Colbert Show is the BEST advertisement for men's suits being free! I half watch the show JUST to see what he's going to wear! It's exciting.
So I understand the crossdressing thing. It also usually indicates that a man feels an affinity and love for his mother that he expresses through dressing in feminine garb. That's SO complimentary. And I've also read that the more crossdressers are encouraged to crossdress, the less they feel the urge to be clandestine about it.
I'm all about acceptance of harmless avocations. OK OK... Adult babies... ummm , ok, uh... yeah... Not gonna date a man who needs to be diapered... I'll POWDER you... But you better be wearing underwear!!! ahahahahahaaha
@Screenwriter the adult baby thing, yeah not me. As for me looseing friends and jobs. Well I been open and public about my crossdressing since News Years 1999.
In my life everyone knows and I dont hide it or pertend I dont do it.
To me I wear 24/7 days a week. I am not looking for a sex change and not looking to be accepted. I just do it
One day I have to tell you the story on how everyone found out. Thats a great story on its self
Write it up for GAG!!! Sounds fascinating! Well, I'm always mistaken for a man, especially with these masks and no one can see my lipstick. I wear men's hats too. So I'm just as much of a crossdresser as you are. I wear men's shirts, Brooks Brothers, real loose ones, and board shorts and hiking boots. Graduations, weddings and funerals I get out the female drag.
Otherwise, I'm climbing ladders and putting in window panes and mowing the lawn et al.. I have a house to maintain because I have a tenant living in a rear apt. Daddy was a carpenter's son and knew how to maintain a car, so I change my own oil, check the tires and transmission fluid. I can change a tire too! Got tools: clamps, hammers, drills, circular saw, reciprocating, rollers, brushes, sandpaper... I am skilled and if at my age you AREN'T, you have a problem... unless you're RICH and can hire everybody...
@Screenwriter see and I do all that to, I just can't do lip stick and other make-up, feels weird to me. Trust me i have tried like 3 times and dont like how it feels on my skin
but I also can sew and knitt , I make dolls and stuffed animals for the kids every Christmas, I think them are my 2 girly things I do. All the rest is labled manly
My wife is lot like you. She can do all that to, but relies on me to do a lot of times
Only thing I need my son to help me with is heavy lifting. Gotta get that powerwasher to the repair guy and it weighs 60 lbs. A beast to lift and maneuver for 5 foot 2 me.
@Screenwriter my wife is that short to and here I'm past 6 feet tall. And here I have a fetish for women taller then me and I married a shorty to. Still love her even she is short like you
I think tall guys like the CONVENIENCE of short women. THey can toss us around even though they like the elegance of tall ones... all that legginess...
The height thing is hard on shorter men though. I worry about my son who is only 5'5". But he has a giant personality and was early on dating a woman who was an inch or so taller than him. I hope it doesn't hinder him. I've read lots of negative articles about a man being short. Studies were done too.
If a man was a milionaire, had great personality, loved children women passed him up for a taller man with little or nothing. I was shocked. Women have this cave woman thing about a man being bigger than them, even if he could NEVER protect them...
I don't see why not. It's just fabric
