It really depends. If your boobs are able to hold themselves up well on their own, I'd say to ditch it for everyday use. There are muscles that are meant to hold up your boobs, and if you use more bra support than you need, the muscles can atrophy.
That being said, if they're already sagging, I'd wear one that is less restrictive. With just enough support to keep them from sagging, but not so much that it feels like a boob cage. Because if they are sagging already, then gravity is winning, and the more it happens, the more the tissue will get stretched out.
I also encourage sports bras for exercise, even for small chested women. Because the movement can cause bouncing, and therefore tissue damage. There's a reason it hurts to jump with no bra on, and it's because the sudden pull of gravity yanks on the tissue and causes damage, which ten causes sagging.
I'm smaller chested, so I don't wear one every day. I do wear a bralette to work though, because I jump around a lot, and I would feel awkward holding my boobs up with my hands to do that at work. So it's just enough support to keep things from hurting and causing damage, but not so much that my boobs can't move at all.
Basically, wear as much support as you need, and no more.

20 Reply615 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. So I have read that not wearing a bra actually strengthens the muscle and connective tissue in the breasts because they have nothing else to rely on, support them, when a bra is not there.
But I find this very, very, hard to believe. Have you seen the tribal women in documentaries, who don't bother with underwire, lol? They get mighty long.
I think it's mostly due to one's natural size. And some have more of a natural teardrop shape. And then there's aging. And gravity.
They used to say "sleep with your bra on" (well, naive girls said this), but it's long been disproven as myth, doesn't work. Basically, I say, support them, and then accept them, whatever happens.

That's exactly what I said, those travel women have breasts look like socks

+1 yWhile wearing the bra it will make the appearance of them not saggy. But it won't prevent it, actually could speed up the process. Gravity will happen there is no way to prevent sagging it's just life. But going braless often can strengthen the muscles which can delay sagging.

+1 yFrom what I've read, wearing a bra actually makes your chest muscle weaker because they don't have to support your breasts. With that being said, if you look at indigenous people that never wore a bra, their tits are flat and very saggy so I don't know what to believe

Not true, I know the study you're referring to but it's not very conclusive. The level of sag is determined by genetics, weight fluctuations, pregnancy, and gravity. Wearing the wrong bra size could definitely contribute, but wearing well-fitted bras is not going to make you sag (or stop you from sagging!).

Yeah That's kind of what I alluded to. I've seen the study but like I said I've also seen these tribes women that never wore a brawl and have boobs that look like wind socks. If they're going to sag they're going to sag and there's not much you can do about it
Bra's are not only for support but they are basically to put your breast back where they belong. Most women wear a bikini bra just so they can show cleavage so they wear a bra that covers their breast where the breast set or hand. put them back where they belong with the right bikini and you get will get more attention.

My mom's a Doctor, she and I are both slim build with full breasts and we both go braless fairly often. She's 46 and could pass for early 20's, she's really firm and perky, so that may dispel some of that line of thinking.
00 Reply1.5K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Nope! Going braless will make them sag less cause they will build the muscles to help hold themselves up

+1 yActually research has indicated that wearing a bra can actually cause your breast tissue to sag faster than they normally would.

+1 yMy mom always tells me that wearing a bra actually makes them sag bc they rely of the bra for support. I kinda believe it bc when I was younger I always wore bras to bed and now my boobs struggle to stay up lol

+1 yActually, no. There's a muscle in your tits that built to hold those puppies up and the more you wear a bra, the less chance those muscles get to do their job and, without practice, they won't be able to DO their job, anymore.

+1 yYes, but not by much. Genetics are the key factor. Then of course the size and weight of your boobs. Gravity is a bitch
10 ReplyI heard that it's the opposite. Women who did't use them much have 0.7cm higher boobs compared to those who used it everyday
10 ReplyYes but if you wear them 2 much it actually makes the muscles around them that hold them up weak, which also can cause sagging

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yMaybe a sports bra when you exercise but wearing a regular one all day causes the connective tissue to atrophy which can cause pre-mature sagging.
00 ReplyApparently it doesn't make any difference, but I have a rather hard time believing that.
10 ReplyIf you have a small boobs, definitely you’re boobs won’t sag even if you’re not wearing a bra.

+1 yA bra is there for support. Duh but long term I’d image if ur boobs have less time to get stretched out is image they help long term as well

+1 yYes, it helps. Less tension on the skin so less risk to sag.
