Did I tip the maid enough?

I hired a company with two gals to clean my house that I'm renting out. They spent 5.5hrs on it and omg it looked like a new house! I guess the cleaning company charged me like $450 to do it and it was a wreck because my puppy destroyed it so I gave each girl $ 50.00 each as a tip. I guess you're supposed to give 20% but im not giving them $90 each that's ridiculous.

You tipped them too much, if anything.

But you followed the only real rule of tipping : tip with whatever you are happy to - not what you are forced to.

At first I was thinking $20 a peice would have been fine, but I looked online and it says 15-20 percent of what your bill is. I'm in the service industry and nobody ever tips me. I mean occassionally they do. Oh well they earned every bit of that money. My house looks brand new and I was seriously questioning if it was fucked up by my dog
