Was she rude? an old lady at work came up to me and told me to clean up the bathroom because no one needs to know that I’m on my period?

I didn’t notice that I left it dirty and I try to clean it up. This has never happened to me and it’s very embarrassing. I am so embarrassed almost cried lol

I don't know how the bathroom usually is but she may have just been annoyed if your coworkers are generally dirty/messy and she’s sick of cleaning up after people. At least that was my view at my old job but I still went about it politely and humanely which she did not. It isn’t hard to wad up some tissue to wipe the blood or whatever was left behind, then pull you to the side to give you a heads up about it, and to me that’s only if it’s happened more than once, I wouldn’t even say anything on a first offense. It was rude of her there’s no doubt about that, but I would say to just move on. Don’t dwell on her being mean, it’s just not worth it or nearly as embarrassing as you’ve made it in your mind.

She said it happend twice today I tried to wipe it off but i guess that some of it stayed under the seat. To make things worse there were Spanish people there that could understand her. I thought that she was a sweet old lady

Like you’ve done that twice today or in general it’s been twice? I personally would not consider under the seat, since that’s usually men lifting it up for the bathroom. But hey all you can do is be more diligent going forward, it was an accident and it was rude of her to address it with you how she did. If there was anyone around to hear her come at you like that then honestly they probably didn’t care, or maybe found it funny in the moment but have moved on. I think in your mind it’s a bigger deal than anyone else around is actually seeing it, especially women because we all have periods and accidents.

Twice yesterday. She’s not a cleaning lady or anything. I thought that I cleaned up well. But the toilet wouldn’t flush so I added white paper to try to hide the bloody papers

And later i came up to her saying sorry about the bathroom and that I didn’t know but she didn’t have to say it to me like that in front of people and how was I supposed to know that she pees with the toilet seat up lol she didn’t understand that part but i just said forget it and left
