Are these tops too sexy to be worn on their own (with jeans) with no jacket?

I love the red one's shade, it's beautiful and the black top has such a delicate touch to it, the lace is really pretty.

My friend said he thinks it's too sexy to be worn without any jacket over them tops - I am wondering whether that is true. I personally think it can be a casual wardrobe or a going out outfit when paired with heels.

I'd pair this one with basic blue jeans and black heels & purse

Those tops are not sexy; they are singlets with some lace slapped on. Ask your friend or show a picture to your friend of a singlet like these with no lace and ask, 'are these sexy?' she will probably say no because somehow lace has become known as only sexy when it can be only called pretty most (besides lingerie, that's different), a stupid stereotype. Thus no opinion matters if you want to wear these singlets; nothing will stop you.

I said C and that they can be worn on their own. I will say that the lace and the straps make them look a bit like underwear/loungewear but not to the point you couldn't wear them out. I think context also matters. Run to the grocery store? Coffee? No jacket. Brunch at a sophisticated place? Jacket. Either way, they (you) will look great.

I voted C as it is sexy but can still be worn outside. I do wonder why you’d pair it with ordinary jeans though, it seems like a bit of a mismatch between casual jeans and a sleek and sexy top. I think it would be better paired with some black formal pants.

Looks like an under-top it’s a bit skimpy but not exactly a bra I’d say its no more revealing than a male under vest its just as thin and although they aren’t typically worn without something over it they can be 👌

I would wear either a jacket or a cardigan over them, those still make these tops visible and you can take the jacket or sweater off if you want. JMO!

Depends where you're going. To a friend's house or a club, no jacket is needed. To school, the office or shopping, many would think they're a bit too sexy on their own and should be covered up.
