tell the hair professional to not get the products into the scalp or roots and since you've done something harsh in your hair yoy compensate it by using products that are moisturizeing usually hair products that contains milk like coconut milk , you can also use conditioner after it. the key there is to really moisturize.
i think it's better to use hair iron than chemical hair straighteners because the hair iron doesn't touch the root but if your hair is really very curly you can do both you can chemically straighten your hair then use hair iron for touch up. ijist take care of the scalp
if your hair gets really dry throughout the day you can use a light weight lotion like the face/body lotion from cetapjol
now there's gonna be build-up of products in your hair overtime so you can use a bit of vinegar when you wash your hair mix the small amt of vinegar in your shampoo
don't expect your hair to be healthy and then you keep being harsh to it

You can’t reverse it. You will have to cut it all off and start over. One straightening lasts until new hair has grown at the roots.
Advice would be to wrap it, so you don’t have to keep using straighteners to straighten the chemically treated hair! Use deep conditioning treatments regularly to lessen the breakage.

Depends what you're after.
Firstly NO hair straightening treatment is "permanent" despite all the claims. What they actually mean is that it's not going to wash or steam out after a day or two.
Anyway, you get Japanese straightening, Brazilian straightening, hair relaxing and hair rebonding as well as old fashioned flat iron.
Each has their pro's and cons. Just remember that you still need to look after your hair regardless of what you choose.
Make sure it's what you really want to do, because it does damage your hair. I got it done to my curly hair years ago and it's never been the same since. I want my curls back! And my hair became more damaged.
I wouldn't recommend it. Chemically straightened curly hair will grow to be straight with curly hair at the edge and it looks horrible. And straightening them every time will just damage your hair.
GHD straighteners are amazing and they don’t damage my hair with hair protector
You are a boy? ok.. after straighten hair chemically prepare to lose some of your dense hair
Stay away from hot blow dryers, tongs, and perming tools. Heat damages your delicate hair cuticles by drying them out and leads to hair fall.
