I have lady-hair right now, lmfao, I’m struggling to keep up with it😂

My hair is SUPER-thick, so it’s a lot to deal with. Takes like 3-5 minutes to get it wet all the way through. I don’t go to a barber, I go to a “stylist”, so this dude has all kinds of fancy shampoos and conditioners, etc, plus he’s been cutting my hair for pretty much the entire time he’s been cutting hair, so I get a crazy discount, he sells them to me for cost, usually against my will, but he won’t take my money, haha.

So I wet it, shampoo it, then the rinsing process is nuts, because I have like “ringlet” curls, so my hair is just completely wrapped around itself. I can’t comb or brush it straight through without breaking it, especially when it’s wet, so I have to literally find the knots and carefully untangle them, one by one. Then I comb it with a wide-toothed comb, then I do that like 2-3 more times, slowly and carefully, stopping to manually unwrap every knot.

By now, I’m starting to run out of hot water, lmao. Now I use the regular comb and carefully comb everything down. I start putting in leave-in conditioner, and then the last step is I have to flip my hair “up” by bending at the waist so it’s falling towards the floor, so I can get conditioner in on the back and sides of my hair. When I get out, I wear my wide headband (kind of a Patrick Mahomes thing, haha) and all the hair is brushed upwards, and comes out of the top. I let it hang and dry on its own, and my ringlets reform. When dry enough, I have these fat “curly-hair” hair bands, and I tie it up at the top-center. Sometimes I do loose bun, but I pull the ends of my curls out, either all the way for a wild and untamed look, or I won’t pull the ends all the way through, and I kind of make a circle of loose curls that surround the base of the bun.

When I feel like putting in the effort (and no rain is coming), my favorite look is the House Party 3 look for Kid from Kid N Play in the early 90s. I literally cut a hole out of the top of a retro 90s SnapBack, and I pull the “untamed” curls out of the hole, only tied at the base. We have different hair textures. But I’m curly enough that I can reasonably pull it off.

I don’t know if this looks terrible or if it’s unique-in-a-good-way, but I rock it with confidence, so I think people are like “that’s…different”, lmao. I actually love the look, and I love that I’m probably the only guy on the planet doing it in the past 30 years😂

I have 3B curls. I wash my hair every other da and I like to wear my natural hair and prefer to keep it simple. On the days I wash my hair I use shampoo and conditioner and like to detangle my hair in the shower after shower I like to style it with with a tiny bit of mousse and let it air dry. On the days I wash my hair I always sleep with a satin cap to protect my curls. Next morning my curls are usually still fine and luscious and I just apply some dry shampoo to my roots, hair oil through the ends of my hair and a hair mist. I usually wash my hair the next day but in case I don't wash it I either put it on a pony tail or bun.

I generally cut cheese drippings out of my unkempt beard a couple days after they have hardened. Just kidding kinda! I've usually grown my dome and facial hair out during the cold months (Which seem to last longer) and then shave it all off minus a goatee for summer and shit.

Wet my hair down, dab-dry it with a towel, put some forming cream in it, comb, done.

Wash and condition every 7-10. Sleep with it in braids. Avoid brushing as much as possible
