I think makeup is way overdone nowadays among many other aspects of fashion. I think it’s a disservice to everyone. First and foremost it’s a disservice to the woman who feels like she needs to wear it in order to feel attractive and beautiful. It has to be exhausting to go through that every single day. I think it’s a disservice to others around her as well because she is not being who she really is. For all intents and purposes, it’s a mask. We live in such a fake society already. People shouldn’t have to mask to gain acceptance and validation. I would much rather validate a person based on who and what they actually are. Especially in a love relationship. Physically and emotionally speaking I want a woman to be who and what she is. I don’t want her face or other aspects of her body to be masked or modified beyond something they are or aren’t. Just be yourself and be natural.
