Well if we're talking personal preferences here, it seems like there was something that happened in probably the 2010's where styles went kind of nuts.
Like I think of 90's and early 2000's girls styles as being a bit more "girl next door" and casual. Simple, comfortable tops. Relatively fit jeans but not excessively tight (though I girls despised low-cut jeans, which is certainly reasonable). Also I think they still had pockets at the time.
But then it's like out of nowhere everything suddenly went, like, "Snooki/Kardashian" I guess you could say? It suddenly became a bit thing to chop off your eyebrows and sharpie new ones on. Make your lips enormous. Emphasize having huge boobs and a huge curvy butt stuffed into leggings and "boots wid da fur", and an entire makeup style that basically intends to make you look like sculpted plastic.
Like I understood it as an art style, but not as a norm. It seems like a lot of effort to make yourself look THAT fake.
The big boobs/butt fascination is apparently tied to economic outlook, so I guess it makes sense following the 2008 financial crisis. The over-plucked artificial look probably relates to IG and its filters, since apparently that was/is a big thing, of girls actually getting cosmetic surgery so they could look like the IG-filter version of themselves.
A lot of guys seem to like it too, but a lot of guys like everything. The difference is which guys we put on top and call "correct".
But yeah, me personally, it's not my thing. I'd say I'm probably more attracted to many men than I am to this style. I guess I'll be one of those old guys who yearns for "the good ol days". But perhaps the 90's/60's will come back around.
I think there are three general standards a girl can go for.
Respectable. Nothing that can be criticized. Little flesh shown; discrete cleavage at most. Occasionally zany if the girl is.
Sexy. Sort skirts, tight tops or singlet tops, plunging cleavage.
Sensual. Not so much flesh but a good chance of it as in the top in the pic and in general flowing tops/skirts. I'd include highly femme dressing in this category.
Sexy is just a matter of revealing as much as possible. After 60 years of short skirts they really aren't that sexy anymore. Don't know why girls think they are still sexy.
At a club I saw a girl in a lap lap - just beaded strings fore and aft. It was sexy but more it was gross. Clearly no panties. Convenient for sex in the toilet doubtless - just move the strings aside.
I certainly react far more to sensual. A chance to see more than is intended is always a good thing - I like the top in the pic for the potential. To me sensual clothing reveals the way a girl's body moves and that makes me think thoughts more than a lap lap will.
I must say happy days in Melbourne Aust now. Finally warm enough for girls to forgo bras and wear tops light enough to give nipple impressions. Hurray!
I'm going to have to say Birkenstocks. They were popular among the obese old ladies in the 80s.
I was a kid and I recall one old lady (who knows, she was probably 50 or 60 😂) with short white hair and a mumu. She was sitting and on her gnarled crusty feet were those ugly Birkenstocks. 🤢
I know some of you ladies absolutely love those shoes and I'm sorry, but I'm still traumatized 40 years later when I see those.
I don’t like the raw muscle and bone female look, a lot of blond celebrities like Jewel and Candace Swanepoel have attempted it but I think it makes a girl look impersonal and desensitized in an aggressive and boastful way.
@Guy___ lol 😂 no they are not. The number of cicgendered celebrities significantly out number trans celebrities

Being dirty, trashy, unhygienic, and unshaven, and excusing it by saying "beauty standards are just a tool of oppression from the patriarchy." No, you're just lazy and dirty and Adulting is too hard for you. So many women are like this, though..
That’s quite the list you have there…..
I absolutely LOVE a great fitting corset and love the looks of it...
however, the ones that go to an extreme to pretty much deform the waist line, I do find those all kinds of disturbing and so wrong that I will not even post a picture of it... lol
In the 1960s women had dressed made out of paper

@CarmenApple I know, but maybe she didn't see that. One is an advertisement, and the other two are from a seller on ETSY
This is not for anyone, this is for influencers and and paid models or someone that work in fitness, celebs and so on. I have been to Monaco beaches and saw things people wear that no one else wear while they are getting paid or their rich sugar daddy brought for them to dance on their yacht party wearing gold and diamonds with Chanelle and CD high heels 🤷♂️.
I don't know... There are some styles that are pretty dumb but I don't know what it is called. I am guessing showing more then they need to especially if it is cold. Because frankly not everyone wants to see that, sometimes it is not the people you want to see, and it makes me uncomfortable
It’s a toss up between breast and backside augmentation and the trend toward wearing less and less in public. In the absence of legitimate medical need, rocking what your mama gave you is going to be just fine for most men, and you can safely ignore those for whom that is not good enough. I am not a fan of the modern trend of experimenting with how little can be worn while satisfying the law. I’m not here to say if it’s wrong or right I’m answering a subjective preference question.
High waist pants do usually look good to me. I could list other things I do not like but I am not sure if they are really trends in some case they have been around my whole life.
@FilmGuy93 actually it’s more about comfort and coverage.
@FilmGuy93 try on a pair of ultra low rise jeans and it would make a lot more sense
I think the whole puffy lips thing is just weird. I think women brand their lips or something to get the look, but the whole look just seems like a lady has had an extreme allergic reaction.
Shaved head. Unless you're in the military or have a severe illness its not a tasteful trend.
As much as I love to see yoga pants, its not a fashion trend for every day if you're not at the Gym every day. Gym clothes are for the gym.
10cm+ heels, impossible to walk with… right? just sexy on IG but in reality not so much especially after walking only 5 min starts hurting like hell and you can’t do anything
Trying to dress like women from the 80s and 1940s but not living by any of the moral OR fitness or nutritional standards women had back then.
Lol right like meth and cocaine XD
Lol those were the house wives... or are your forgetting that they put cocaine in soda in the early 1900s?
There are a few for me: *shit kicker boots with nice dresses. * massive fake eyelashes and/or nails * oversized anything * and my particular favorite - those hair buns that look like Mickey Mouse ears. They're sooooo ugly!
The thong bikini I think is ridiculous I know they are popular know and even my mom just got 2 of them for upcoming vacay! But really? You’re in public cover your buns. Sweatpants are always ridiculous
All this beige shit they are selling in the shops at the moment. So sick of it I want to see colour not bland af colours that suit no one
Back in the mid `80's, everyone was always dressing in rags!! It was like being on the set of a Mad Max movie!! It was okay for a few months but it got old real fast.
Leggings that show a girl's everything down there: camel toe, wedgies, fat folds. Leave something to the imagination for goodness sake.
Obsession with plastic surgery. Almost nobody looks better afterward, they just look like creepy plastic alien pornstars.
All the Instagram, fashion nova baddie clothes that's skin tight, shows off too much, and always a damn crop top. 😑
High waisted stuff. I’m generally not a big fan. I know it’s supposed to accentuate your hips, but if you don’t naturally have wide hips, you aren’t exactly fooling anyone.
Wearing too sexy clothes that I don't like and will never wear. I dislike high waist means and any other means they all seem to be high waist. Don't like crop tops. I am more on short side of average women.
i dont like thé shorts hair trends personnally
Me neither. The French girl I was eyeing in the restaurant had short brown hair. She was so adorable and I seem to have developed a weakness for French girls, which is probably why it didn't bother me so much, but I prefer her hair to be long and black ^_^
@KostasKouvalis it’s great if you like French now ^^
Yeah, I like the singer from Superbus and I forgot the name of the other girl. It was a girl from who was in a two piece pop band with her boyfriend when she was a teenager. I can't search for her right now, 'cuz I'm in a bad spot, but when I remember I will show you. She's really cute and socially awkward.
Honestly, a big reason I like them so much now is because of you ^_^
There's some Quebecois girls I like too ^_^
@KostasKouvalis you mean the group kyo Maybe?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CLuOd8xMRRo
That s great ^^
No, it was a just a guy and a girl together.
@KostasKouvalis i don’t know then there s too many song like that
I FOUND IT! Videoclub. Adèle Castillon
@KostasKouvalis i Didn’t even know this groups 😹
Really? Superbus seems pretty popular, but Videoclub I'm not surprised you wouldn't know. Videoclub I found through an IG post and Superbus I found completely by accident looking for another song
https://youtu.be/kcYAeL3hTBs
https://youtu.be/5NjJLFI_oYs
@KostasKouvalis superbus i know it i liked it as a child
It s videoclub i didn't know
The girl from Superbus is a Liberal, but I like how she looked when she was young, and Adèle is sexy and socially awkward, and has a rebellious/bad girl vibe which I really like.
@KostasKouvalis this suck
Most artist are libéral in général at least one of my favorite actor is a far right 😹
I know. It's so annoying, because there were a lot of celebrities/YouTubers I really liked, and them being Liberals completely ruined them for me. I had to unfollow half my Instagram feed.
One of my favorite singers turned out to be a Liberal. I honestly suspected that he was, but I liked him 'cuz he never talked about it before Trump.
@KostasKouvalis i don’t really care about it so long as they make great song movie it s ok
I dont try to search their view
Artist shouldn’t talk about politic cause it influence so many people
Yeah, I really should stop snooping through their social media and researching their views, if they don't mention them publicly, because it would probably be best if I don't know them
@KostasKouvalis yes it’s usuzlly better
So here's the French girls that I like
This one is an Algerian singer
https://ibb.co/jkLNNFf
This one is Adèle. She seems a little crazy, which I like ^_^
https://ibb.co/6y4f27s
This one is a French foot model
https://ibb.co/4SrVS0W
And the last two girls are Quebecois
https://ibb.co/Jttk3wJ

Then Eva Green, Sophia Marceau and the girl from Superbus you already know
Too early to tell. Some female fashions are nice, others are over the top weird.
The trend of women who look like Lizzo being praised as strong women for dressing the way she does.
I think she’s called strong because she wear what she wants despite societal thinks she should wear.
Yes I’m aware of that
Trick question?
We can judge what wen were 🤓.
*We can't judge what women wear 🤓
Tights/leggings, as pants. They're not pants ladies
Butt augmentetion. Also talon-like fake fingernails.
It's not so much what they wear, but it's the fact that so many decide that filters and kissy faces are good in pictures.
holes in jeans sucks and long sleeves wearing shorts or short dresses. Also where dress is longer in front than back
Long sleeves?
@TrueConfection what do you call it
Long sleeve shirts? I only know one kind of "Long sleeves".
@TrueConfection No, there are weird looking dresses.
Anything that is completely see through
This is a gender-neutral one but any intentionally ripped clothing.
The worst female fashion trend ever... is clothes.
That’s tough. I know the best is yoga pants/tights. The person that invented those should win the equivalent to the Nobel Peace Prize.
Usually Clothing that's got lace on it looks unattractive to me.
All the current fashion trends these days is ass
High waisted anything. Fuck T Swift for bringing that ugly ass 1940s trend back.
Corduroy dresses.
The static is unreal.
60’s couch. lol
Dark bra sheer shirt. Tacky.
high wastebands. I'm ready for mom jeans to die.
It has to be the worst fashion trend of all time... bell bottoms
High waist pants What a turn off for an ass-man like me who enjoys the female backside
Uncomfortable clothing and shallow pockets.
I don’t know if people still do this but women would shave the side of their head bald and leave the other side non bald
I hate the sexy schoolgirl look. It's disgusting and pushes toxic morals that can seriously hurt people. Especially those who are underprivileged.
Really masculine looking clothes
You mean, most the clothes women wear today?
Expansion of body parts and facial features
Nose septum rings. Terrible.
Leggings / stretch pants in public. 🤮👎
None. Women can rock almost anything.
Thanks for like!
Thanks for likes!
Ripped jeans and dressing slutty.
The girl in your picture
That’s a complicated way of trying to say that you don’t like me… say what you mean. No body respect a passive aggressive man.
My profile photo is me honey, that photo was taken at a place called Pistils by Nursery
Oh you mean the stock photo lol
Most modern day fashion trends
Whale tail -early 2000s.
That one up there is quite bad.
big buts and twerking
those ugly ugg slipper sandals
Thigh-high stalkings.
Chokers and rompers
