On women, the item I would put way at the top of the list are those kind of shoes that have platform soles and super high, spike heels. I like reasonably high heels on women, but the platform sole thing is a fashion abortion.
A few other things are: Big, fake fingernails. Certain nail colors like black or other dark colors or those stupid, ornate decal designs. Too much eye makeup like fake, bat-wing lashes or sharp, black mascara points that extend far past the corners of the eyes. Weird lip colors like black, blue and green. Any piercings other than ears and, in some cases, belly button. Septum and lip piercings are particularly grotesque, but so are eyebrow and cheek piercings. Tats in general, although I have seen a few that are tasteful and attractive. Super tight, skinny jeans usually don't look great. They can actually distort a woman's shape. Shredded jeans. Tight, hip-hugger pants that dig into a woman's hips and create love handles where she should have smooth curves.

This is funny because I feel like the majority of young guys in Germany wears long shirts, cardigans and deep v necks. However, I think this look CAN look good on some but usually it ends up looking douchey like you said. Nail polish and crop tops are too much, they're on my top 10 but I've never seen anyone wear them in real life (I don't live in a big city though and it's cold most of the time).
I don't like Birkenstock shoes on men all too much. I get that they're really comfortable, I wear them myself for this very reason, but enough is enough. And I'm not even talking about pairing sandals with socks.
