In my opinion, the 90s were significantly worse than any previous decade.

The thing is about "fashion" is that it's not what people actually wear. It's what the small percent of people who are into that type of thing wear, but not what normal people wear.

Whenever I see pictures of fashion in different eras in my lifetime, it's NEVER what most people actually wore.

OK, the worst trend that 0.1% of people wore were the "clown pants" that were common for a couple of years in the 80s.

The mullet was a close second. (I admit I had a mullet myself)

70's for all clothes and some women's hair, 80's for all women's hair and some of everyone's clothes, and whichever decade women started wearing combat boots with frilly lace dresses or any kind of dress in general.
