I mean are there any men's trends that are considered "good?"
It seems like we basically have the option to wear a basic T-shirt and jeans. Maybe flannel and jeans but even flannel gets mocked these days. A sweater might be a safe bet. But if it fits properly, you will probably be considered too effeminate.
It is a very strict orthodoxy that allows for no experimentation or expression. Compared to women's options, men are North Korea.
Tried bringing trilbys back. That died very fast and very hard. Tried it once and some people loved it. A month or so later someone ripped it off my head and stomped on it because it was a "neo-nazi dog whistle".
Jeans have to be slightly baggy. Actual baggy jeans are worse, and you'll probably get shot for wearing jeans too skinny.
Is a beard a good thing to have? You can basically flip a coin every time you ask this.
Heads: It's mandatory.
Tails: People want to punch you in the face.
Some guys tried switching to long hair. Maybe that works sometimes if you're lucky. But if it gets in your face? You can't put it into a standard bun like, you know, any girl would do. Or any man with long hair in history. You could be skinned alive in a public square and people will say you deserved it because you were so morally-reprehensible as to wear a "man bun".
Formalwear? Bahaha. Women like to say "it's sexist that society expects women to cover up". And think "the world" is the beach and "her body" is just the chest. Literally the only location and part of the body where women are expected to cover themselves more. But with formalwear, the guy must be one face mask away from a burqa. Covered head-to-toe in 3 layers. Wearing a bowtie is considered a shocking act of defiance.
Sound like a hot outfit in the summer? Too bad. Air conditioning is sexist because it discriminates against the pop star women who get to wear bikinis under fish nets for their formalwear. And heaven forbid anyone critique it. How can anyone critique that, when Obama is right there being so bold as to wear a TAN blazer? The balls on that guy.
So I find it funny when women complain that either society restricts how women express themselves, or claim that men lack style. Like yeah... the whole planet loses their shit over the slightest deviation.

God, where do I start with this question. Men's fashion in my opinion is a joke. Well, fashion in general is a joke. But I have had a hard time shopping for new clothes for over a decade now because of the "hip" trends. I refuse to wear skinny jeans. I refuse to where any pants that stretch. I buy jeans and I will wear those things until they are unwearable. I don't donate them after the "season". I but jeans to last. Eventually they get holes. Then as they wear down you will get holes in the butt or crotch or something and that's when I toss them. The thought of buying jeans with holes already in them kills me. When I see a pair of brand new holed up jeans with a price tag of $399.99, that's when I knew I was in trouble.
I guess what I'm trying to say is Jeans is what's wrong with men's fashion today. I just realized I didn't even check to see if you wrote anything under the main question. I might have missed a lot. Sorry if I did. But this is on my mind probably 6-10 times a year. A little side note, I do enjoy the 90s coming back. I had some old band shirts from high school and since that was the in trend last summer I sold 6 shirts individually that I wore the shit out of for many years, and I made just under 3k. I really liked those shirts but when I do the math on what I paid for them and got over a decade of use them the opportunity to make I believe it was $2,790 give or take a couple bucks, I would live with my loss of 6 shirts. Unless one of those shirts were on sale when I bought them, the most that I would have paid was $120. The place I bought them sold shirts that were not on sale for $19.99
Men who think it's cool to have no sense of personal style is the worst trend!
Like you are a grown-ass adult and fashion is the first way you communicate who you are to the people around you. It's not inherently "gay" or "feminine" to cultivate a personal style and have at least some interest in fashion, it's mature and shows you know who you are as a man!
My favorite at the moment is 1990's collegiate/business casual. Like Mamoru in Sailor Moon with high-waisted trousers and tucked-in shirts that emphasize the waist, uhg so attractive and classy!
Grey sweatpants. For a start who thought anything with "sweat" in the name was a good idea. Let's be honest the reason the average "sweatpants man" wears them is because he's normally too drunk or high to be dealing with zips, buttons or belts. You can stagger to your drug dealer without worrying about your pants falling down.
And forget all that "dickprint" crap because we all know the average sweatpant wearer only wants to visit your bedroom so they can check out the security for later.

a mustache...
and do not get me wrong all of you mustache enthusiasts and lovers... lmao
I do not refer to those people who can actually pull of the look of a well trimmed and grown moustache/beard combo or just by itself, sure those are out there and they can look good for them and others
the ones I mean are those who try go with a mustache because it might be a "trendy look" that they think will look good on them, and it just doesn't look good at all lmfao... you all know who you are, drop it and stop trying it... lmfao I would say just not caring. A lot men just don't care that much about fashion and throw anything on, pants that are too loose, shirts that are too tight etc. Then they get online and wonder why they're not getting any hits. Well you look at their avatar and their hair looks unwashed, he's got on sunglasses, he's posed naked etc. You gotta have at least one good male friend who knows clothing attire and I'd not then find some help. There's to many shows out here that can help you out when it comes to attire.
Gender bender unisex
But look at me, I part of it, I wear womens clothing, but don't hide that I'm a man.
I bend the gender lines, so I'm a hypocrite
I don't fit in with the crossdresser, the transgenders, the transvestites, the drag queens or the female impersonators
I do freaking weird
The home boy look of the past 20 or 30 years.
Pants sagging below the crotch, underwear hanging out, t-shirts that could easily double as mini dresses, untied sneakers, baseball hats backwards and ears tucked under them, and other shit like: a ring that spans every finger, steel chains with kitchen clocks on them, Beijing haircuts, etc., basically, guys that look like a walking bag of dirty laundry.Disgusting

Cuffed blue jeans. Nothing says "tool" like a guy wearing blue jeans rolled up at the leg into cuffs.
Skinny “younger sister jeans”. That trend lasted far too long. Sagging pants was better, and never thought I would say that… and it’s back. 😝
Definitely moustaches. At first I thought maybe it was just some guys who struggle to grow facial hair, trying to get a head start on "movember" - but they're just everywhere. And without exception, they look shit.
Anything that's too baggy and sloppy looking. Although I do like the look of clean white sweatpants. I HATE button up semi-casual shirts for men. Someone needs to invent fancier shirts for men. They're just so boring looking now.
best men's fashion
I don't know if it is a trend or if it has been going on so long it is beyond a trend but I have never understood and do not like the thing about pants falling down below the hips.
I don’t like long hair on guys, some people think the look makes them seem exotic and handsome but I prefer guys who wear traditional or conservative clothes and hair.
The stupid assed "backwards baseball caps" and the pant hanging off their crotch, AND the Morons wearing the IDIOT lanyard hanging out of their pocket!!! WTF?
I just saw this after a high-level political meeting - guys wearing a dark formal suit with white shoes, especially sneakers/trainers. Gah! :-(
Pearl necklaces. Guys have started wearing pearl necklaces now and it’s super weird? I love chains though.
The painted nails. They should be able to paint their nails if they want, but I think it looks terrible
Sagging jeans comes instantly.
But the really worst fashion that i find repulsive as fuck is wearing no show socks with dress shoes or any shoes other than sneakers or deck shoes. Also looks gay as fuck.
Have no idea because I don't know or care anything about fashion. Is there a difference? I don't even notice.
can't really think of clothing, but the mens hair with the fucking perms on the top of the head have got to stop.
I haven't seen it too much, but men wearing single pastel color outfits just doesn't look good.
