What's your opinion about vintage clothing?

Vintage is pretty much the only kind of clothing I wear. 1920s, 1940s, 1950s, Victorian Era, et cetera. Most of my items are either true vintage or accurate vintage recreation.

I especially love girls who are into that kind of thing. I cannot stand the way most women dress these days (slobby, immature, trashy). However, the ones that are into vintage are always so well put together. Vintage blouses, skirts, and dresses from a variety of eras are absolutely a delight to see when nowadays it's a sea of yoga pants, ripped jeans, and crop tops.

The best in my opinion, and the most feminine on women. Especial styles from 1890's to 1950's. That or the "cottagecore" style.

It makes women so pretty, in my opinion, and men classier. The only thing I'm not sure is about comfort, but I've been told it was pretty nice.

I like many of the styles, but I personally hate the smell of vintage clothing stores, and the idea that someone wore it for years. Wish the materials and styles would come back though. Fast fashion sucks. Has no longevity whatsoever.

Some of it comes back in style. I own a dress that looks like it's from the 50s, but it was stylish in the early 00s when I bought it in Mannheim.

If you wear vintage clothes but you don't act traditional in any way it's just cosplay. It's being a clown. You could wear marvel superhero outfits & be less of a clown.

Vintage clothing can be nice, in the right setting.

That picture is not vintage. The hemline is way too short. Back in the vintage time when that dress was popular, the hemline would have been just above the knee.

The material is usually shit, even if the style and aesthetic is good.  But making "vintage" clothing with newer materials usually works out.

I love it and wish society would revert to the fashion styles of the 40’s and 50’s minus the greaser look. I say revert but really it would be elevating fashion. People dress like crap today.

Better quality, I have a vintage Hermes tie, dutle to inherit a Crombie overcoat bought by my great grandfather as well as my Skinnbekladnad of course
