Flip-flops are the only shoes I wear. I have dizains of different pairs. I've always loved wearing flip-flops but had to wear boots in winter or sneakers for sport. When I was a teen, I progressively began to wear flip-flops in winter for short moments outside. My feet got used to the cold and then I was only wearing closed shoes for really freezing temperatures or for PE lessons.
During the pandemic, I was spending days at home and was wearing flip-flop to go to the grocery store. From that moment, I can't imagine wearing other than flip-flops even in winter. The only sport I practice now is natation.
I hope I'll never have to wear shoes again because I feel very well like this. After years, I can't even remember what's the sensation of having enclosed feet. My best friend even told me she would feel strange seeing me with shoes or socks;
