Do you consider 1.70m or 5 feet 6.929 inches short for a man?

This is not an opinion. Based on actual statistics that would be considered below average height for a man in the country I live in.

Yes, I would consider any man below 1.83m, six feet tall, to be short for a man, based off of where I grew up, where most men were about 1.85m barefoot. Although "tall" and "short" are literally always going to be subjective, aka, "an opinion. No one cares about what country you live in or when you're living there.

If you REALLY wanna get technical though; the optimal, scientific, adult human male height is 1.84 meters, or six-and-a-half feet tall. That is legitimately, and biologically speaking, what an adult male under healthy, 21st century living conditions, is supposed to be in height. With adult human female height optimally being 1.71 meters, or five-foot-seven. Anything below that would "objectively" be short on homo sapien men and women.

That is the only time you can claim "this is not an opinion" regarding height. Otherwise, please do not try to sound smart on things you know very little about. 5'7" is seen as short on Western men nowadays (just as 5'11" is seen as short on American men nowadays), but both are subjective opinion, the way you're stating is, as there is no "universal median height" on men and women. ... Aside from the scientific 6'0.5" for men and 5'7" for women, that I just stated; that I doubt you or anyone else on GAG even knew or cared about.

But TL;DR:
Yes, I consider that short for a man, in my opinion.

That's about my own size. I don't feel ''short''. I do notice that taller people are around; but I don't give it too much attention because I have a life to live :)
