Why is perceptions on Guys wearing fake tan and foundation, nail polish more accepting in women than men?

Part of my fabulous look is my tan👌I top up my fake tan every day with 3 layers, I wear foundation and white or yellow nail polish occasionally, I get comments about the level of My tan off straight men who use it as there first jibe to insult me with "Orange boy" - "Cheetoface" - along with my voice🤭 I get a lot of jokes off workmates and friends regarding my tanned look but dating wise guys love it and compliment it, and see it as my wow factor🤣I'm only 5ft6 so it gives me confidence, women tend to be very complimentary also, so why is it such a cultural thing?

I think tans are hot on a guy if he got one naturally from playing sports or working outside. A guy going to a tanning booth or laying at the beach tanning is not hot. And a guy wearing nail polish even clear coat is not hot. AT ALL. You do as you please but yea no

They were targeted for women just like the gaming consoles are targeted towards boys/men. Yes women still play on gaming consoles, that doesn’t mean that men can’t wear makeup and have nail polish. As long as the guys are wearing like blush or eyeshadow I’m okay with them wearing it, nail polish has to be a nude color on the fingers and for the toes I’m okay with any color. For me though it’s more a feminine thing to wear nail polish. Makeup anyone except for blush, highlighter, and eyeshadow.
