Why do people on Reddit saying that my eyebrows are too dark? Isn't it considered youthful?

Also I know many women who tattoo their eyebrows to look darker and fuller... So how is it even a problem? Are they trolling me?

I've never heard anything about eyebrows making a woman look youthful. But... before I answer this... I've gotta ask this first.

Did you ask people on reddit a "how do I look" type question? Because if you did... this is your own fault entirely and you can suffer the consequences of being insecure about whatever people thought were flaws.

If not. That's completely different. If people started talking about how you look out of nowhere.

But if you asked... this is self-inflicted and easily foreseeable wound. Unless you thought everyone would think you were literally perfect... obviously somebody's going to find SOMETHING wrong with you. So this almost seems like posting a picture and asking: "guys, I need to feel insecure about something about myself. Any ideas?" And now your worried about your eyebrows.

I am not insecure about them and never was.. It has always been my pride hahhaa I don't know why

Well good. Then don't worry about anyone saying your eyebrows are too dark. You like them. Who cares if someone else doesn't. Don't even worry about it. Why bother? You're happy with them.

At this point, I think they're just trolls or personal attacks, 'cuz they look completely fine to me. Or maybe some people just don't like dark ones, but even so, I don't understand why they feel the need to shame people for it. Some people just have way too much time on their hands

If you have been making your eyebrows darker then maybe stop doing that? If not then I wouldn't worry about it.

In your profile photo your eyebrows do seem darker than your hair which if nothing else makes them stand out.

It's very difficult to find the right words here, I've had to think about this for a while.

At first I found myself saying that your eyebrows are big and they are but its not like you have a monobrow or something, the size of your eyebrows is actually fine, but they are drawing the eye, they are very striking, so what is going on here? I think that because your features are so pronounced, from the make up you are wearing, the eye, at least my eye tends to view each of your features in isolation rather than viewing the face as a whole.

It's almost evil, like a succubus or a witch.

I don't think you need to worry about "looking youthful" at age 18, your eyebrows are what the fashion is now and that is fine like that. If you want to look like an early-teen on purpose then you should go for more straight eyebrows and more faded, like Koreans do. While if you want a sexier look, keep a strong gaze. There are many ways to shape your eyebrows depending on what you want to get, and at age 18 you can pretty much afford any existing eyebrows look.

It sort of looks like you used a sharpy to fill in your eyebrows. Take a look at people with nature black hair and their eyebrows, it's not truly black, it's just dark. And the tattoo thing your mentioned, it's really dark In the beginning when it's still fresh, but after a while it will fade a little bit and it's when it's faded it's "done" and have settled as the natural look it's supposed to look like.

harsh dark eyebrows are not youthful. young children have naturally fine eyebrows, the opposite of that.
