I don't want any dirt in my car so I always ask my passengers to put their shoes in a plastic bag who is always in my car.
Do you think it's rude or inappropriate?

I’ve never had someone make that request. I have had people ask me to remove my shoes at their doorway into their house. It’s not rude, but seems a tad extreme. Cars have mats that can collect dirt and can be cleaned. Also I would say people can track dirt in on their clothes as well
I consider my car as an extra room. I also remove my shoes of course
Like I said I’ve never had someone ask. And I would caution you from asking them to remove their clothes to avoid dirt
Your car, your rules, but it does seem extreme. More so if your car is older. If you got a nice car, it’s more understandable. You can get rubber mats for your car to clean out. Or have a shoe brush with you and ask them to clean their shoes off. For me, it’d be more of a safety thing.
My car is new and clean and I don't want it to degrade. Why do you think it's not safe?
It's your car, your rules - they gotta respect them.
Yes but rules can be inappropriate
It’s your car. Be as weird as you want 💁🏾♀️

It's your car, if they don't like it, they could ride you in their car, or at least that would be my solution.
You know floor mats can be removed and cleaned
Kind of inappropriate - cars have floor mats that are easily cleaned. But hey - it's your car, do what you want.
we take ours off in the house, but not in the car.
What if their feet are sweaty though
No problem I don't want dirt
Yea its gonna smell like corn chips
It could be unsafe to do that but it's your car
I think it's fkn dumb, but you do you
Are you driving your car barefoot?
Yes it's very clean
Okay
Not polished today
