Are you ok with car passengers taking their shoes off while riding in the vehicle?

Do you mind if passengers take their shoes off and even socks if they want while riding in your vehicle? Or do you want them to keep shoes on and if so why?

I always remove my shoes (and sometimes socks) as a passenger so yes I have to be tolerant with that

It makes the car ride more comfortable freeing your feet from shoes and socks. Do you worry ever that your feet will smell? What about passengers?

But I don't want my passengers to remove their shoes if their feet smell

It all depends on the situation and the passengers. If we’re embarking on a long road trip, I don’t mind people getting comfy and taking their shoes off, as long as their feet are clean and they don’t put them on the seats. However, for shorter rides or if the car is freshly cleaned, I’d prefer everyone keep their shoes on. It helps keep the car tidy and makes it easier for everyone to hop out quickly if needed.
