Ah, the shorts of the 80s. I remember when I was first going to school, these are the type of shorts I had to wear and my mother would send me off mid winter at 7am in these because she thought I would get hot later. I never did. It was cold all day and to this day, I still have the scars from intensely painful goosebumps. I actually started packing a pair or pants in my bag to change into.
Uhh.. what was the question? Oh yes. No. No I would not wear those today. There is nothing good about that style of shorts.
Nah, too short, even for me.
Wearing shorts in public is kind of weird for me, like I last wore ones about 2-3 inches above my legs and some were staring at me.
My gym ones are pretty short too, but that's for the gym and they're still longer than that, although not by much. Not now, but back in the day, they were the only length/style of shorts you could get. I recall getting my first pair of board shorts though when I was 17 which are similar to the length we wear today.
I bought them at a surf shop where I purchased my wind surfer.
With well trained legs a guy will look sexy in such shorts but most guys have toothpick or chicken legs and those shorts will likely look ridiculous on them
Even though it can sometimes be attractive, I personally wouldnāt wear shorts exposing my knees. In middle school, some even said that I was wearing girlsā shorts, because āany shorts that donāt cover the knees are short shortsā like I actually believed it. Itās just that in my culture, knees must be covered.
I use to watch that show as a kid. In that era we use to wear baggy Jams down past our knees. My Dad use to wear khaki boat shorts. We lived in South Florida which is a hot and humid climate. Nobody was dressing like Magnum P. I.

not a chance...
Not for me, thank you. I wouldn't go so far as bermuda shorts down past the knee but equally not above mid thigh. More practical. If you sit down on seat in the hot summer sun you won't immediately have to jump up.
Only time I wore shorts close to that length was for cross country. Those shorts on a daily basis look wrong. Prefer longer to be either at or just above the knees.
Those look like, what, 2 inch inseam? I would wear that 2-3 inch length swimming. But a little short for me for everyday wear outside of swimming. I just bought several 5 inch inseam shorts for everyday wear and love them... very comfortable and perfect length.
I think yes it can look good on men today.
It's good to see the strength in men's thighs.
If it is the style the guy wants I think they should go for it.
Nope. Don't wanna get gang raped by gay dudes. Where I live, that's asking for it. And that's in spite all the crazy other outfits locals wear. I've seen a little bit of everything.
Back in the day I wore these but not today. I prefer somethign a little longer and not so tight in the crotch.
i would not wear short shorts. this character was in HAWAII tropical unbearable heat not "correct" only necessity.
Yup, I have legs on the shorter side, I could pull them off. Iād just make sure the crotch isnāt so tight!
Maybe if I was rich, simply cause I'd have fuck you kinda money and if someone don't wanna see that my legs well too damn bad I'm rich lol
Nah, it's gay.
But I do look good when I wear shorts that are on the looser spectrum to that. Showing off some man Leg.nope. too tight in the crotch, not enough coverage of thighs for hot summer seats, and not enough pockets/pocket space
Nah, I have some skinny ass legs, so I am good
Oh the 80's - I never wore or would have considered buying shorts like that now, way too restrictive, certain parts of the male anatomy does not react well to being squished.
