Is it a sin to put tattoo ink on someone's skin or anywhere on the body?

I don't have a tattoo yet. Planning on getting one, but would I go to hell if I get one on my skin?

There are things in the Bible that have a basis in hygiene. People who had tattoos probably died from some mysterious fever. So tattoos were prohibited.

Depends on how religious you are, hardcore or the type that's more lenient and allow some tattoos. If not, then go for it.

Sin = waste of time. If you think it's a waste of time then don't.

You thought sin is evil? No, you can kill someone if God commands you to, and it isn't evil.

Just separate "sin" from "immoral". Something doesn't have to be immoral to be a waste of time or something you will regret.

You know, it's sin when you do something morally wrong. Making a tattoo is nothing morally wrong. I'm saying this in context of life, not any religious book.
