Socks with sandals. An abomination?

Sandals are the abomination.

You already lost by owning a pair of these. If these were bought for me or even gifted to me I would not claim ownership and give them away immediately!

There’s nothing wrong with them entirely, and I would wear them if I really had nothing if I knew I was gonna walk for a long time. I definitely have them as a kid, but they always looked funny and if I had to wear them, it would have to be in the summer setting that’s what they are designed for so to me wearing socks with them is triple the weirdness. What are you afraid to show your toes?

I’m definitely not the fashion of police, but now that I’m older, I have a sense of style and nowadays we have way better options and that look great and are Extremely comfortable. I think slides with a strap on top of the knuckles of your toes are a solid option like, for example Jordan slides. They don’t have to be Jordan, and every brand has similar slides but over the years they have made them and they have been getting better quality in and I personally think they look cool. I wear that with socks. I don’t really care what people think too much but a pair of slides were socks an a lot more reasonable and understanding and I don’t think it looks as bad as putting socks on and I’m wearing sandals with the buckles? I’d rather wear flip-flops with the toe thing int the middle or water shoes than sandals. I guess slides are the best with or without socks

When I feel like humiliating myself, I'll go to the mailbox wearing my saggy-ass worn-out boxer undies, a raggedy tank-top, and of course, sandals with socks.

I walk as slowly as I can in the hope that a car full of lovely young ladies will come down the street, hooting at my classy attire.

Even better, I'll wear just a Speedo, no top, coupled with socks and sandals, and proceed to cut the lawn. There's a much longer exposure time to allow for my assured humiliation. I also get that much-sought-after mid-calf tan line, too.

I wonder if those who hoot at me are aware that they have been used by me in sating my attention-whore desires.

That'll make one think the next time they see socks and sandals, won't it?

Just kidding.

If it's quick decision due to already wearing socks in the house and not wanting take the time to actually put on a real pair of shoes or take the socks off (like if you are taking the trash out, walking the dog, getting the mail, etc) it's fine, but if you are going out with a group of friends or going to be out for quite a while, please take the socks off or wear actual shoes. Socks with sandals/flip-flops (and sometimes crocks) just look tacky...

I'm sending everyone to jail who commits this crime 😡 Okay, silly jokes aside... It isn't a nice look but I've seen many middle age women and elderly men and women wear that so I feel maybe they do that to protect themselves from the cold and some do it to prevent uneven tan too. So, I just try not to be rude by avoiding looking at their feet.

Some socks look ok with sandals, like Nike socks look good with Niki sandals. I sometimes where black socks with my flip flips when I know it's going to be a hot day and my feet are going to get sweaty and slip out of my shoes.

Yes. Either you're comfortable having other people see your feet or you're not. I think a lot of people would be surprised by how many guys are turned on by men's feet. During the warm weather months, I always admire other men's feet, especially if they have a beautiful woman with them.

some sandals on bare feet, can be uncomfortable, but of course wearing socks with them, being the fashion faux pas, that it is... use you own judgement. I just buy good sandals that don't rub your feet raw being worn with bare feet.

I wear sandles sometimes, depending on how sunny it is I may wear ankle socks. I once got a sunburn on my foot. Let me tell you, that sucks donkey balls!
