Wrong picture and it makes the question make look like a wrong question.

Short nails are when the girl has NO nails beyond the figertip. When she cuts them so short that they look like a guy's hand. Most girls when they are very young (below teens), they don't grow their nails. Just giving that as example; THAT is what is called short nails.

With that being said, "long" nail are always gross. Only the girl herself thinks they look nice and she wants to force all others to say they look nice. Only the ill-advising friends will say they look nice. In reality, they look fucking ridiculous and gross... ALWAYS.

For my personal preference, short nails are always a turn off because that is one more BIG feminine quality taken off the girl. I do not find unfeminine girls crushworthy.

I like well manicured and shaped up nails that are just long enough to look good, specially with nail polish. And it is very important for the shape of the nail to look natural even if they are fake. Any odd shapes look fake and bad. The first picture is a nice length.

well I’m a girl who likes to get my nails done occasionally because I have a habit to bite when I’m nervous or anxious but even when I get acrylics done with gel nail polish I keep my length short so it will always be 1inch longer. I can’t stand long nails and for the same reason how do you clean and keep your hygiene short nails are the way to go wether you get nails done or grow them naturally short nails will always be better

Team short!! long nails is unhygienic and I said what I said. How do you go to the toilet and wash the dishes etc and then use the same nails to cook your meal….

Short nails. I prefer natural short very short nails. I'm not a big fan of nail painting or nail polish and I'm not a fan of fake nails. For women my age or so, I don't think it's my thing or their thing to be into "huge nails" or even "fake long nails" urgh. Lol. 😅

I get that a lady who took a lot of time on her well manicured long nails looks better or at least really good, but long nails are just not practical. How does she earn a living? And if she is a stay at home mommy of a newborn, how does she change the diapers and nurse the baby with nails like those? Reality prevails over aesthetics.

I don’t care what anyone says but I loveeee me some long nails. I prefer wearing long nails, but sometime I wear short nails for work or school, but still rock them how I liked.

I’m making y’all icky with this one but, I love a long nails with coffin shape that is creative, artistic, dramatic storytelling, Hoochie mama designs with some rhinestones, cute jewels or stickers!! (not all together.. depends)

Or sometimes i do a simple nail with designs. 💅😋

As a banker I could have either. And I’ve seen plenty of girls with nails like that doing all types of jobs. I used to like long nails like that but I use my hands too much, they break off, and one even took my fingernail clear off.

As for what men prefer, well it’s never been based off of that so I could care less lol

i want my nails short i get uncomfortable for some reason if it's long for a long time so i say short. but my toe nails i'm fine for it to be lonh but with my fingets i get uncomfortable. i can have longer fake nails for occasionsbut for everyday short all the way

That's not short nails, those are fake pedicured. The 2nd one I actually seen a banker have long nails before so that's a false comparison. You can type fine with those.

I like nails in-general so whatever makes them happy at the time is cool with me, I have polished pedicured nails sometimes. Even I use more utensils like can openers and scissors often just not to ruin them.
