How long does clothes last?

Wow, 2012 now that is vintage. There are concert shirts still around from the 80s that sell for $600 and are in great shape. It's all about storage and preventing damage from bugs and water.

I am currently wearing one of two t-shirts that I've had since high school. All of my others are maybe 2 years old at most.

They simply aren't made with the ruggedness that they used to be, though I'll admit that my shirts from Cuts and True Classic are more comfortable.

I have authentic clothes from the 1920s, 1940s, and 1950s that are in perfect condition. So, they can last decades when MADE WELL. Clothes these days, fast fashion that is, don't last all. Falls apart in months.

depends on how much you use it and what you do in your clothing like yard work, just going out etc

Depends on the quality, type of fabric, how you wear it, ...

But i guess 5 years is something to expect from any piece of clothing.

If you take good care of them and they're well made then they can last for decades.

Quite awhile if you don't wear it much or gain weight so it doesn't fit you anymore.
