2000s styles will always be what I think of as “normal”, lmao. On that old show Seinfeld there was a funny quote where they said “Your dad dresses like he did the best year of his life, for the rest of his life.”😂 So for me, that’s probably like 2004. I’ve rolled with the times to not look like a weirdo, but in my heart, nothing will ever be superior to cargo shorts and an Abercrombie & Fitch polo shirt, and don’t forget the puka shell necklace, lmfao.

Anyway, I’m certainly used to low-rise jeans myself. As for the ladies…I mean, for MY viewing pleasure, I certainly prefer low-rise jeans. But to be fair, at the time they were in style, I was like 24, so everyone I knew was under 30, mostly even under 25. I lived in a college town and worked at both Hollister and A&F. Almost everyone I saw was young and still hot-by-accident, haha. But once in a while, you’d be reminded that certain cuts work best on certain body types. Girls idolized chicks like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, and those jeans are made for bodies like theirs. Now the style icons are like Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner…. they were built in a goddamn lab to be thick, so they need high-waisted pants to flatter their kind of figure.

I saw a funny meme during the pandemic about low-rise jeans coming back in style soon, and the caption was like “we’re going through so much right now already. Please don’t do this to women.”😂😂😂

I just don’t get why we have to be in this on-going cycle of fashion. If something looks good, keep it forever, and let the mistakes pass as trends. But they can’t have us not buying new shit every few years, right?🙄 Legit, if I saved my clothes from high school, I could wear some of it today and no one would think anything of it, but fifteen years ago I would’ve looked like a geek. What are we doing here?😂

This is cool question I have never seen look at on a woman never has ever seen them my son used to wear his pants like that and the only way that I could fix that problem is that any place that I would take him and I was supposed to drop him off or we were going there together the moment I got out of my vehicle my pants went down as low as his and he would ask me what am I doing let's say what what are you talking about I'm not doing anything what are you talking about he'd say your pants I said what about them they're my pants it's really noneyour business come on let's go let's get in here and he would say well wait a minute I said we don't have time to wait let's go he'd say Dad I'm not walking in there with you wearing your pants like that I said what are you talking about you can't be a hypocrite you can't tell me you don't like something and you're doing the same thing right because it's different I go it's not different it's the same thing who cares anyway let's go well I would do it I mean every place I would not care I would just have the biggest smile on my face and once you graduated college if you can't find me a pyramid and that changed really quick but yeah it's fun to play the game but I would like to see I've never seen what it actually looks like on a girl or how low they wear them I want to know if it's sexy or if it's just like my son oh my god dude stop it pull them up but I'm curious now

The problem with low cut is, they often cinch into a woman's soft hips and make her look like she has love handles. They spoil the smooth curve of her hips.

Some high waisted pants that come up to a woman's ribs can be odd.

I prefer jeans that cinch right where the hips begin to flare from the waist. They accentuate her waist-to-hip shape and proportions.
