Nope I'm not very focused on my look. I have to prioritize a lot because I'm autistic and I have a lot of interests but not much energy to do things. And clothes have generally been really low on my list of priorities because I focus internally on my mental health, growing as a person being the best I can be, learning from experiences, thinking about life and stuff I don't understand or just something that's bothering me at the time.
Externally I need to deal with all the expectations and responsibilities of life especially social stuff can be very tiring, and then also try and grow and improve in different areas. My goal is to build something up a project or so and continually put in work to make it better and better but that's been something that has been very difficult for me because of my disability but I'm always making progress in some area and I keep doing my best :).
With a lot of big things on my mind worrying about clothes just rarely comes into the picture there have been some phases where I wnated to try new things or just buy nice new stuff but most of the time I'm too preoccupied with other things and I just wear my old clothes I'm comfortable in until they completely fall apart and I'm forced to get something new that's how it's been most of my life.
Problem is I don't often see them as costume pieces. Once I buy them they're just part of my wardrobe. I have a couple shirts (ruffled pirate style), a couple of hats (one of my tophats as well as one of my tri-corns), a jacket (beautiful 18th century jacket with tails) and a vest (big silver buttons) all picked up at a costume store. I also think my sparon was a costume piece (gift so I'll never know for sure, but came with my nicest kilt).
***DM me will you? I want to share something cool (non creepy or sexual I promise)***
Not sure if it counts, but I bought and made a bunch of stuff that is part of specific cosplays. But separately from each other, they are normal pieces of clothing that I like to wear outside. Nothing gives me more confidence than walking down the streets in my REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA Graverobber leather coat in fall.
My mask, black fingernails, and armor rings.
Unsettles the neighbors.

not now but i used to when i was like 16-18. like i would wear cat ear headbands sometimes in public, had a jack squellington stitch choker, sometimes would put in colorful hair extensions that were meant to be part of Halloween costume i think, there might have been other things but i dont remember
Not Goth, I don't do that, I would wear Vampire Stuff if I was doing that, Vampires are Cool.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/UHh1TxryWlwFrankly, I would like to wear the costume of Elvira, Mistress of the Dark every day, but I don't have such an opportunity. And I'm sure it's uncomfortable AF..
Yes, as part of my spider woman costume :)
p. s. have never worn false eyelashes before but will try them soon..!
If am Freddy Kreuger sure 😏
no i don't... are you going for that gothic look?
Nothing wrong with that, each individual has a different style.
