Men, do you own any suits/tuxes? Women, do you own any formal dresses?
How many do you own? How often do you wear it? And do you usually try to match your partner when you go out?

All I wear is formal and business casual. I never go out in sporty casual clothes. If I go to the pool I'll wear a rashguard and shorts but I change back into my normal outfits after.
In my closet right now:
- One authentic Victorian suit and Regency shirt with puffy sleeves
- Two 1940s suits and one 1940s overcoat
- Two 1920s suits, three 1920s shirts, four 1920s starched collars
- A variety of "current" suits
- A variety of dress shirts and button up short sleeve shirts
- A variety of hats (peaky, fedora, bowler, top hats, homburg hat)
- Several wool trousers
- Two medieval outfits (Baggy Rus trousers, tunics, Kaftan)
Indeed!
I don’t really like wearing suits I more dress casually but I do own a fair few high end ones just in case I need them. My friend is a boxer and so if he has an event on I’ll wear one then etc…better to have some then not yk
I wish I enjoyed dressing up more aha. I’m not a huge fan of formal events, too many people I don’t know and too much pressure on how I look and act. I do enjoy it once in a while but I wish I could enjoy it more and it didn’t stress me as much lol glad you are able to have fun with it
I'm very much the same as @Elliegirl... At least an outfit for any occasion.
Sure. Skirt suits, cocktail dresses, evening and ball gowns

Ugh. I hate formal wear. I wouldn't get caught wearing a suit/tux or any other formal attire outside of a wedding or a funeral. It's not for me at all. I'm casual AF. I have one suit that I haven't worn in 15 years since when my brother got married. It probably doesn't even fit anymore. Wouldn't know, don't care. lol
I have a variety of dress pants, dress shirts, jackets, coats and blazers and hats.
I don't wear my formal clothes everyday or anything but I do wear them, some days I just dress nice for the hell of it because I feel like looking nice. I never cared much for what society phases out. Which my wardrobe reflects as most of my clothes are old fashioned style wise, genuinely old since a lot of my more nicer clothes I got from my dad and grandfather and they dressed sharp or are timeless style wise. Even my leather jackets looked like they're straight out of the 40s-60s.
Even in my causal clothes I'm still dressed nicely/put together.
My hats bush hats, cowboy hats, panama hats and flat caps you'll rarely ever see me without one of them one.
I do - I wore work clothes when I used to be a uni student and those clothes - most of them still fit me. I had 7 for 7 days of the week.
I have nearly 3 dozen bespoke 3 piece suits, a tuxedo, dress coat (for white tie events), morning dress and a handful of blazers for more casual affairs.
The suits I wear nearly every day. The rest a few times a year.
I do have some formal dresses. I have about 5 of them.
Yeah I rarely wear them anyway.
I own a Tuxedo... and that is the only piece I consider 'formal'
Yes I do. I need them for formal work functions.
many many many
